Rod Stewart has eight biological children with five mothers: Sarah Streeter, Kimberly Stewart, Sean Stewart, Ruby Stewart, Renée Stewart, Liam Stewart, Alastair Wallace Stewart, and Aiden Patrick Stewart. They were born across several decades, from the early 1960s through 2011. The family includes children from Rod’s early relationship with Susannah Boffey, his marriages to Alana Stewart and Rachel Hunter, his relationship with Kelly Emberg, and his marriage to Penny Lancaster.
Rod Stewart’s children in birth order
Here is the clearest way to understand Rod Stewart’s family: the eight children listed below are his biological children. They do not include his grandchildren or stepchildren.
- Sarah Streeter — Rod Stewart’s eldest child, born to Susannah Boffey in the early 1960s and later placed for adoption.
- Kimberly Alana Stewart — Rod’s daughter with his first wife, Alana Stewart.
- Sean Roderick Stewart — Rod and Alana Stewart’s son.
- Ruby Stewart — Rod’s daughter with former partner Kelly Emberg.
- Renée Cecili Stewart — Rod’s daughter with his second wife, Rachel Hunter.
- Liam McAlister Stewart — Rod and Rachel Hunter’s son.
- Alastair Wallace Stewart — Rod’s first son with Penny Lancaster.
- Aiden Patrick Stewart — Rod and Penny Lancaster’s younger son and Rod’s youngest child.
1. Sarah Streeter
Sarah Streeter is Rod Stewart’s eldest child. Rod and Susannah Boffey were teenagers when Sarah was born, and public accounts say that she was subsequently placed for adoption. She was raised by her adoptive parents, Gerald and Evelyn Thubron.
Rod and Sarah later reconnected, and reports have described their relationship as close. Her story is therefore not simply one of a child who was adopted and lost contact with her birth father; it also includes a later reunion and the development of a relationship between them.

Sarah’s exact birth year is inconsistently reported, with some accounts giving 1963 and others 1964. For that reason, it is more accurate to describe her as having been born in the early 1960s than to present one year as certain.
2. Kimberly Stewart
Kimberly Alana Stewart is Rod’s daughter with Alana Stewart, his first wife. She has worked in modeling, television, and acting.
Kimberly is also a mother. Her daughter, Delilah Genoveva Stewart Del Toro, is Rod Stewart’s granddaughter—not one of Rod’s eight children. Keeping that distinction clear is important because celebrity family lists sometimes accidentally count grandchildren among the children.
3. Sean Stewart
Sean Roderick Stewart is Rod and Alana Stewart’s son and Kimberly’s younger brother. He has appeared in reality television and entertainment coverage and has pursued entrepreneurial and production-related work.
Sean’s personal life has also been the subject of sensitive reporting, including coverage involving health and substance use. Those subjects are not necessary to identify Rod’s children, so they should not be treated as defining features of Sean’s biography or presented in sensational terms.
4. Ruby Stewart
Ruby Stewart is Rod’s only child with former partner Kelly Emberg. Public profiles describe her as a singer and model. She has also performed with The Sisterhood, a musical project with Alyssa Bonagura.

Ruby became a mother to a son named Otis in May 2023, according to entertainment coverage. Otis is another of Rod Stewart’s grandchildren, not his ninth child.
5. Renée Stewart
Renée Cecili Stewart is Rod’s daughter with Rachel Hunter, his second wife. She has maintained a comparatively private public profile while working as a model and as a yoga or meditation instructor.
Public coverage has occasionally highlighted Renée’s modeling work and her relationships with her siblings. Those appearances provide only a partial view of her life, however, and should not be treated as a complete biography.
6. Liam Stewart
Liam McAlister Stewart is Rod and Rachel Hunter’s son. He pursued ice hockey, playing in junior hockey and later professionally, including with Milton Keynes Lightning in the United Kingdom’s National League.
Liam is also a father. Public reports identify children named Louie and Elsie with Nicole Artukovich. They are Rod Stewart’s grandchildren, which means Rod remains the father of eight biological children—not ten.
7. Alastair Wallace Stewart
Alastair Wallace Stewart is Rod’s first son with Penny Lancaster. He was born in 2005, before Rod and Penny married in 2007.

Alastair has entered modeling, including a Palm Angels billboard campaign reported in entertainment coverage. He is also frequently seen supporting Celtic Football Club with his father. Because he is a relatively private young member of the family, details beyond those publicly documented should be treated cautiously.
8. Aiden Patrick Stewart
Aiden Patrick Stewart is Rod’s youngest child and his second son with Penny Lancaster. He was born on February 16, 2011, making him Rod’s eighth biological child.
Reports have described Aiden as sharing his father’s interest in football and Celtic. As with Alastair, he is more private than Rod, so there is little reason to add personal details that are not relevant to the family overview.

Why exact ages and birth dates can be confusing
Ages are not necessary to establish the family structure and can create avoidable inaccuracies. Sarah’s birth year is reported as either 1963 or 1964 in different accounts. Kimberly’s exact birth date is also given differently by secondary sources, and day-level reporting for Liam has not been consistent.
For that reason, the most reliable description emphasizes birth order, parentage, and the major family milestones rather than presenting a table of exact ages. Aiden’s date of birth—February 16, 2011—is more consistently reported, but the article still avoids turning a family profile into an age chart.
