Disney’s current official Avengers: Doomsday page identifies Downey as Victor von Doom / Doctor Doom and lists the film’s release date as December 18, 2026. An earlier D23 announcement, published March 26, 2025, said production had begun and gave May 1, 2026 as the planned release date; that historical date has been superseded by Disney’s current listing.
