When and where was Rilo Kiley confirmed to play?
Kilby Block Party’s publicist announced the booking on February 3, 2025. The festival was scheduled for May 15–18, 2025, at Utah State Fairpark in Salt Lake City. The announcement also added Suki Waterhouse and Orla Gartland to that year’s lineup. Read the lineup announcement.
Why was the booking notable?
The announcement described the appearance as one of Rilo Kiley’s first shows in over 16 years. It placed the band among 75 artists and bands scheduled for the festival, which expanded from three days to four in 2025. These are the publicist’s descriptions of the booking and lineup, not an independent count or assessment. See the festival’s announcement details.
How does the 2025 booking differ from Kilby Block Party 2026?
The Rilo Kiley confirmation is for 2025. A later KSL report, published November 18, 2025, described the 2026 festival as scheduled for May 15–17 at Utah State Fairpark, with Lorde, the xx, and Turnstile headlining. That report does not identify Rilo Kiley as part of the 2026 lineup. KSL relayed organizers’ claim that the preceding festival averaged more than 25,000 attendees per day; that figure was not presented as an independently audited count.
