Ride was canceled by Hallmark after one season. The CW later acquired and aired the completed ten-episode first season; that pickup was not a Season 2 order. The sources cited here do not confirm a renewal, production start, or premiere date for a second season.
Is Ride getting a Season 2?
No Season 2 order is confirmed in the official and trade sources cited here. A contemporaneous trade report at the time of The CW’s pickup said the network had no plans to order a second season “at least for now”; that was reporting from 2023, not a current network statement. The CW’s press page confirms the acquisition and broadcast debut of the existing season, but makes no renewal announcement. Next TV / Broadcasting+Cable; The CW Press

What did The CW pick up?
The CW acquired the already-produced ten-episode Season 1, not a new season. The network began airing it on January 22, 2024, with broadcasts scheduled Mondays at 8 p.m. ET/PT, according to The CW’s press page. A later network airing gave the existing episodes another outlet; it did not, by itself, revive the series or commission additional episodes.
