The Red Hot Chili Peppers played “Under the Bridge” as the fourth and final song of their FireAid set at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California, on January 30, 2025. Their documented set also included three other songs, performed in a recorded order.
What the Red Hot Chili Peppers played at FireAid
The band’s four-song set was recorded in this order:
- “Dani California”
- “Californication”
- “Black Summer”
- “Under the Bridge”
The RHCP Live Archive and Setlist.fm both list that sequence. The band-focused archive also identifies Anthony Kiedis, Flea, John Frusciante and Chad Smith, with Chris Warren listed as an additional musician. Setlist.fm independently records the set order and notes that Stevie Nicks introduced the band; its reported 20-minute duration is community-maintained setlist information.
Why the band performed at FireAid
FireAid was a benefit for people affected by the Los Angeles-area wildfires, with recovery and prevention among its stated aims. Live Nation’s January 28, 2025 announcement named the Red Hot Chili Peppers among the Kia Forum performers and said the event would air from the Kia Forum and Intuit Dome. Live Nation’s announcement described the event as supporting Los Angeles’s recovery.

The Associated Press reported that proceeds would go to people affected by the fires, with distribution under the Annenberg Foundation’s advisement. Its coverage also described the band’s performance as California-themed; that is the reporter’s characterization, not a quoted statement from a band member. The AP event report covers the benefit and its performance context.
How “Under the Bridge” connects to the band’s catalog
The RHCP Live Archive associates “Under the Bridge” with the band’s album Blood Sugar Sex Magik. That is the song’s album context; its place as the FireAid set’s closer is a separate detail about this performance. The available records establish the setlist, not an official live release of the FireAid performance.

What is known about FireAid’s fundraising total
In a February 6, 2025 recap, Netflix Tudum reported that the effort had raised over $100 million and attributed the figure to NPR. This is a dated, secondary-reported amount rather than an audited total established by the event announcement. The recap also said the LA Clippers covered event expenses so proceeds could go to designated beneficiaries. Netflix Tudum’s recap provides that retrospective context.
