Mirai is a 2025 Indian fantasy action-adventure film starring Teja Sajja as Veda, a young man drawn into the fictional duty of protecting Emperor Ashoka’s nine sacred texts. Directed by Karthik Gattamneni, it is also marketed as Mirai-The Super Yodha. This is the Indian film, not Mamoru Hosoda’s 2018 animated film with the same title.
What is Mirai (2025) about?
Veda is an orphan living on the margins, unaware of the role he is meant to play. A threat tied to nine sacred texts associated with Emperor Ashoka changes his life and brings out his identity as the Super Yodha, a warrior tasked with protecting them. This is the film’s fantasy premise, not a claim about verified history.

The movie mixes superhero fantasy, mythology-inspired material and action. Its official Japanese distributor also describes action informed by Karra Saamu, a traditional Indian stick-fighting art. The distributor’s account is promotional copy, rather than independent evidence about audience response or the film’s wider impact.

Where can you watch Mirai online?
An October 2025 trade report said Mirai would stream on JioHotstar after a four-week theatrical window. That is dated distribution reporting, not confirmation that the film is still available in every country or language in October 2026. Search JioHotstar’s current catalogue for your region and check the listed audio, subtitles and whether viewing is included with a subscription or requires separate payment; current details were not established in the cited reporting.
Search results can mix this film up with other works called Mirai. To find the Indian release, use the year, Teja Sajja’s name or the marketed title Mirai-The Super Yodha. Phrases such as “Mirai Trailer Telugu” and “Mirai OTT release” also refer to this film in promotional and trade coverage.
