कम RAM वाले लैपटॉप पर OBS से प्री-रिकॉर्डेड वीडियो YouTube Live पर चलाने के लिए पहले Tools → Auto-Configuration Wizard चलाएँ, फिर एक सरल scene में Media Source जोड़ें। जरूरत हो तो Settings → Video में output resolution घटाएँ, 60 fps के बजाय 30 fps जाँचें, और उपलब्ध compatible hardware encoder चुनें। कोई एक RAM संख्या या preset हर लैपटॉप पर सही नहीं होता—छोटी test stream करके OBS stats और YouTube Live Control Room की stream health देखें।
पहले यह समझें: RAM अकेली सीमा नहीं है
OBS की क्षमता CPU, encoder, resolution, frame rate और scene की जटिलता सहित कई बातों पर निर्भर करती है। OBS की प्रकाशित basic requirements कोई न्यूनतम RAM संख्या तय नहीं करतीं, और compatible system होना इस बात की गारंटी नहीं है कि वह streaming के लिए पर्याप्त होगा। आपके लैपटॉप का मॉडल, OS, CPU/GPU, वीडियो का codec और upload speed जाने बिना सटीक encoder या अंतिम bitrate निर्धारित नहीं की जा सकती।
इसलिए नीचे दिए बदलावों को एक-एक करके आजमाएँ। लक्ष्य केवल OBS खोल पाना नहीं, बल्कि वीडियो, आवाज़ और YouTube ingest को लगातार स्थिर रखना है।
OBS में वीडियो जोड़ें और शुरुआती सेटअप करें
Auto-Configuration Wizard चलाएँ
- OBS खोलें और Tools → Auto-Configuration Wizard चुनें।
- Streaming के लिए विकल्प चुनें और wizard को hardware तथा network conditions के आधार पर शुरुआती configuration सुझाने दें।
- इस सुझाव को शुरुआती बिंदु मानें, गारंटी नहीं; वास्तविक क्षमता test stream से ही जाँचें।
एक वीडियो के लिए Media Source
- एक खाली या सरल scene चुनें।
- Sources के नीचे + पर क्लिक करें और Media Source जोड़ें।
- वीडियो फ़ाइल चुनें और source को scene में उपयुक्त आकार में रखें।

कई फ़ाइलों की playlist के लिए VLC Video
यदि क्रम से कई वीडियो चलाने हैं, तो VLC Video source उपयोगी हो सकता है। यह विकल्प तभी दिखाई देता है जब VLC स्थापित हो। 64-bit OBS के साथ 64-bit VLC चाहिए। केवल एक फ़ाइल चलानी हो तो Media Source सरल विकल्प है।

Media Source की memory घटाएँ
Media Source की Properties में Close file when inactive आजमाएँ। OBS के अनुसार source छिपने या inactive होने पर फ़ाइल unload हो सकती है और memory बच सकती है। Source फिर दिखाई देने पर फ़ाइल दोबारा load होने तक छोटी देरी संभव है। यदि आपका एकमात्र scene लगातार सक्रिय रहता है, तो यह विकल्प कम उपयोगी होगा।

Output resolution और frame rate कम करें
- Settings → Video खोलें।
- यदि rendering या streaming में समस्या है, तो Output (Scaled) Resolution घटाकर परीक्षण करें।
- 60 fps पर समस्या बनी रहे तो 30 fps आजमाएँ।
- यदि source वीडियो 4K है, लेकिन stream में छोटा दिखता है, तो उसे 4K output पर भेजने की जरूरत नहीं हो सकती; stream output के अनुरूप resolution चुनें।
ऊँचा resolution और frame rate अधिक detail या smoothness दे सकते हैं, लेकिन rendering तथा encoding workload भी बढ़ाते हैं। हर बदलाव के बाद test करें ताकि पता चले कि सुधार किससे आया।
Scene को हल्का रखें
- अनावश्यक scenes और sources हटाएँ।
- Browser Sources, filters और जटिल overlays तभी रखें जब उनकी जरूरत हो।
- स्थिर graphic के लिए browser overlay के बजाय Image Source इस्तेमाल करें।
उपलब्ध हो तो compatible hardware encoder जाँचें
Settings → Output में encoder विकल्प देखें। यदि आपके लैपटॉप में compatible hardware encoder उपलब्ध है, तो उसे चुनने से encoding का कुछ workload CPU के बजाय GPU के विशेष encoding component पर जा सकता है। NVIDIA NVENC, AMD AMF, Intel QSV और Apple VideoToolbox की उपलब्धता GPU, OS और hardware generation पर निर्भर है।

Intel QSV के लिए OBS की compatibility table Core-i 2xxx या नया Intel HD Graphics बताती है; शुरुआती QSV quality के कारण Core-i 4xxx या नया सुझाती है। यह हर laptop पर समान encoder या समान output quality की गारंटी नहीं है। OBS यह भी चेतावनी देता है कि पुराने hardware encoder समान bitrate पर software encoding से कम image quality दे सकते हैं। Encoder बदलने पर stream देखकर गुणवत्ता और stability दोनों जाँचें।
YouTube के लिए bitrate, keyframes और audio सेट करें
OBS की stream bitrate आपके वास्तविक upload connection और YouTube ingest के अनुरूप होनी चाहिए। पहले upload speed जाँचें और bitrate को connection की पूरी क्षमता के बराबर न रखें—दूसरे नेटवर्क उपयोग और उतार-चढ़ाव के लिए headroom छोड़ें।

ये YouTube Help की 2026 में देखी गई encoder सहायता में H.264 720p30 ingest के लिए दिए गए नेटवर्क bitrate आँकड़े हैं—ये RAM आवश्यकता नहीं हैं और दूसरे resolution या codec पर सीधे लागू नहीं होते। उसी तालिका में 720p30 के AV1/H.265 के लिए 2 Mbps minimum और 6 Mbps recommended दिए गए हैं। अपने चुने codec और resolution के अनुसार YouTube की encoder guidance देखें।
- Rate control: CBR चुनें।
- Keyframe interval: 2 सेकंड रखें; YouTube के अनुसार 4 सेकंड से अधिक नहीं।
- Audio codec: AAC या MP3।
- Stereo audio bitrate: 128 Kbps।
- Ingest protocol: RTMP और RTMPS समर्थित हैं; YouTube RTMPS सुझाता है।
YouTube पर stream key से कनेक्ट करें
- YouTube Live Control Room में अपनी stream की सेटिंग खोलें और stream key प्राप्त करें। इसे निजी credential की तरह सुरक्षित रखें; इसे सार्वजनिक रूप से साझा न करें।
- OBS में Settings → Stream खोलें, YouTube service चुनें और stream key درج करें। यदि OBS में account connection उपलब्ध है और आप उसे इस्तेमाल करते हैं, तो वहीँ YouTube connection सेट करें।
- Settings → Output में चुने encoder और bitrate की पुष्टि करें; Settings → Video में output resolution और FPS जाँचें।
- OBS में streaming शुरू करें और YouTube Live Control Room में preview तथा stream health/messages देखें।
लाइव जाने से पहले test और सुधार करें
- कुछ मिनट की test stream चलाएँ; आवाज़ और वीडियो की गति सहित पूरा playback देखें। OBS का Quick Start और YouTube दोनों test करने की सलाह देते हैं।
- OBS के stats में dropped frames और rendering/encoding overload संकेत देखें। YouTube Live Control Room में stream health और संदेश भी जाँचें।
- यदि समस्या दिखे, एक बार में एक चीज बदलें—पहले resolution या FPS, फिर scene sources/filters, फिर encoder—और दोबारा test करें।
- समस्या बनी रहे तो चुनी bitrate को upload connection से मिलाएँ और network headroom बढ़ाएँ; ऊँची bitrate खराब upload को ठीक नहीं करती।

कॉपीराइट और YouTube पर लगातार प्रसारण
प्री-रिकॉर्डेड वीडियो को लाइव चलाने से उसके संगीत, footage और अन्य सामग्री के अधिकार अपने-आप नहीं मिलते। केवल वही सामग्री प्रसारित करें जिसके उपयोग और प्रसारण के लिए आपके पास अधिकार या उचित अनुमति हो। YouTube की monetization eligibility और reused-content नीतियाँ copyright से अलग सवाल हैं; सिर्फ वीडियो को live format में चलाना monetization की गारंटी नहीं देता। प्रसारण से पहले YouTube की मौजूदा नीतियाँ और सामग्री के अधिकार जाँचें।
