The premiere look
Zegler’s appearance took place at Los Angeles’s Regency Village Theatre. The outfit is often described in headlines as a “naked dress” because its nude-toned, nearly transparent base reveals the body beneath the embellishment. That shorthand does not describe a casual or minimally constructed garment: the design is couture tulle or mesh covered with metallic and crystal work.

Reported footwear consisted of gold platform heels. Red Carpet Fashion Awards identified them as Sophia Webster’s Rita sandals. Coverage also noted mixed-metal rings and dangling crystal earrings. Just Jared Jr. attributed jewelry in the overall styling to Tiffany & Co., KATKIM, and Rainbow K, although it did not provide a complete item-by-item breakdown.

The gold shoes reinforce the gown’s metallic embroidery, while the blue train supplies the look’s strongest color contrast. The styling keeps the transparent fabric as the visual foundation and lets the crystals, jewelry, and train provide structure.
Why the dress drew attention
The design combines several classic Elie Saab couture signatures in one red-carpet silhouette: a body-skimming, illusion-like foundation; dense hand-applied sparkle; dramatic décolletage; and a long trailing finish. The pale-blue train is especially important because it turns what could read as a fully neutral “naked” dress into a clearly colored, formal couture look.

Calling the gown “naked” refers to the visual effect of the sheer base, not to the absence of coverage or craftsmanship. The embroidery creates the garment’s opacity and pattern, while the train and choker detail frame the silhouette for the premiere setting.
Do not confuse it with Zegler’s later Elie Saab look
Zegler wore another nude Elie Saab couture design at the Los Angeles premiere of The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes. That later appearance is a separate event and outfit. The gown discussed here belongs to the March 2023 Shazam! Fury of the Gods premiere.

The available coverage identifies the couture collection and reported footwear but does not establish ordinary retail availability for Zegler’s exact gown or confirm that the Sophia Webster Rita sandals are currently available. Elie Saab Haute Couture runway pieces are not presented as standard retail products in these reports.
Shoppers searching for the look should treat “gold platform heels” as a way to find similar-style footwear, not as a listing for Zegler’s shoes. A mass-market sheer embellished dress may echo the visual idea, but it should not be described as an equivalent to the original couture garment without specific product evidence.
