A report republished on 10 November 2025 said Princess Beatrice hosted a tea party at the Ritz-Carlton in Riyadh. The available material does not independently confirm the event or establish its date, guests, purpose, or whether Beatrice attended in an official capacity. The Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor controversy is relevant family context, but there is no evidence tying it to the reported gathering.
What the Riyadh report says
ABDPost’s 10 November 2025 republication of a Daily Mail story identifies the venue as Riyadh’s Ritz-Carlton and says Beatrice hosted a tea party there. The accessible account supports describing this as a reported event, not as an independently verified occasion. Read the ABDPost republication.
A Yahoo News result carried a related headline saying Beatrice travelled to Saudi Arabia and hosted a tea party for dignitaries, but the page could not be opened for review. A NewsLocker listing reproduces the longer Daily Mail headline and opening sentence. Neither is independent confirmation of the event details. Yahoo News result; NewsLocker listing.
What remains unconfirmed
The accessible account does not establish the exact date of the tea party, who attended, why it was held, or whether Beatrice had an official royal, diplomatic, or commercial role. Descriptions of the guests and venue in the headline are the publication’s framing, not independently established facts. Without further corroboration, the event should not be presented as an official engagement or linked to Beatrice’s father’s former work as a UK trade envoy.

What the Andrew context does—and does not—show
In February 2026, King Charles III issued a public statement concerning Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, saying he had learned “with the deepest concern” of news about Andrew and the suspicion of misconduct in public office. The King said the investigation should proceed through a “full, fair and proper process,” that authorities had the family’s support and cooperation, and: “Let me state clearly: the law must take its course.” His statement described a suspicion and an investigation; it was not a finding of guilt. Read the King’s statement.
That later statement provides context for the phrase “Andrew fallout,” but it does not show that the reported Riyadh tea party was a response to the investigation. Nor does subsequent coverage of the York sisters’ plans establish such a connection.

Later royal events are separate stories
ITV News reported on 30 March 2026 that Beatrice and Eugenie would miss the traditional Easter church service after making alternative plans with the King’s agreement. That report concerns a later family decision, not the reason for the Saudi gathering. Read ITV News’ report.
There is also a separate, officially documented royal tea party that should not be confused with the Beatrice headline: the Royal Family reported that Queen Camilla hosted children supported by Dreams and Wishes at a Clarence House tea party and treasure hunt on 4 June 2026.
