Pluto TV brought all 25 official James Bond films together on its free, ad-supported service beginning December 1, 2025. The limited-time promotion included the live Pluto TV 007 channel, its Spanish-language counterpart Pluto TV 007 en Español, and on-demand listings in the United States and United Kingdom.
That makes this a significant Bond streaming event—but not a permanent availability guarantee. The promotion was described as limited-time, so readers looking in August 2026 should check Pluto TV’s current catalog rather than assume the complete collection is still there.
What Pluto TV offered
For the December 2025 promotion, Pluto TV offered the complete 25-film official James Bond series at no subscription cost. Pluto TV is a free, advertising-supported streaming service: viewers do not need a paid subscription, but they do see advertising during the experience.
The collection was available in three ways:
- Pluto TV 007: a 24/7 linear channel showing Bond films according to a programmed schedule.
- Pluto TV 007 en Español: a Spanish-language counterpart for viewers who prefer Spanish programming.
- On demand: individual films listed for viewers who wanted to choose a specific title or work through the series in order.
The linear channels suit viewers who want to drop into whatever film is currently playing. On-demand access is the better option for a planned marathon, although exact menus, audio options, subtitles, and regional availability can vary by platform and territory.

What “first time ever” actually means
The headline needs a qualification. The strongest accurate interpretation is that this was the first time Pluto TV had offered the complete 25-film official Bond collection together for free with advertising.
It does not establish that every Bond movie had never previously been available free anywhere, or that no other service had ever carried the full series under a different business model. Bond films have appeared in partial collections and on subscription, rental, purchase, and ad-supported services at different times.
Streaming rights are temporary and territory-specific. A film available in the United States may be absent in the United Kingdom or another country, and a catalog can change after a licensing period ends. The December 2025 Pluto TV announcement should therefore be treated as a dated promotion, not as proof that all 25 films remain available today.
Which 25 films were included?
The 25-film count refers to the official Eon-produced James Bond series, beginning with Dr. No in 1962 and ending with No Time To Die in 2021. It does not mean every screen production connected with the character.

For example, the non-Eon film Never Say Never Again is outside the official 25-film count. The 1967 spoof Casino Royale is also not part of the canonical Eon collection. Calling the lineup “all Bond films ever made” would therefore be inaccurate.

How to watch the collection as a marathon
If all 25 titles are available in a reader’s territory, release order is the simplest way to follow the franchise’s changing actors, eras, styles, and filmmaking technology.
- Start with the Connery foundation: Dr. No through Diamonds Are Forever, with George Lazenby’s one-film appearance in On Her Majesty’s Secret Service.
- Continue through the Moore era: Live and Let Die through A View to a Kill.
- Watch the Dalton transition: The Living Daylights and Licence to Kill.
- Move into the Brosnan period: GoldenEye, Tomorrow Never Dies, The World Is Not Enough, and Die Another Day.
- Finish with Craig’s connected five-film arc: Casino Royale, Quantum of Solace, Skyfall, Spectre, and No Time To Die.
Viewers who do not want to watch every film can begin with a representative title from each era: Goldfinger for classic Bond, The Spy Who Loved Me for the large-scale Moore style, GoldenEye for the 1990s revival, and Casino Royale or Skyfall for the Craig era.

Free with ads is not the same as ad-free
“Free” describes the price of access, not the absence of interruptions. Pluto TV’s model combines live channels and on-demand programming with advertising. The linear channel may also mean that a viewer joins a film already in progress or waits for a scheduled broadcast, depending on how the channel is being watched.
On-demand listings provide more control over the starting point, but they do not automatically mean an ad-free presentation. The precise playback experience can differ by device, app, territory, and title.
Why the collection appeared on Pluto TV
The promotion reflects how major film libraries are now distributed across several kinds of services. Amazon’s acquisition of MGM placed the studio’s catalog and the commercial future of the Bond franchise within Amazon MGM’s sphere, but that relationship does not mean every Bond title must remain exclusive to Prime Video.
A free, ad-supported service can provide a rights holder with promotional reach and advertising value while giving viewers a no-subscription way to sample a major franchise. The Pluto TV event is an example of that broader licensing strategy: a high-profile collection can move between subscription services, digital stores, physical media, and free ad-supported platforms.

It also explains why a reader should not treat any single “where to watch” result as permanent. Bond availability has changed across Prime Video, Netflix, Pluto TV, and other services, with the number of available films varying by country and date.
What to do if the promotion has ended
Before starting a marathon, search Pluto TV directly for the individual films and check the current channel lineup. A third-party availability guide can help, but its results should still be confirmed in the reader’s own country and on the intended device.
Readers who want access that does not depend on a rotating streaming license may prefer a physical release. The official 007 Store has listed Bond films in 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD formats, including collections intended to cover the official 25-film series. A James Bond 25-film collection 4K Blu-ray can be a practical permanent-access alternative to a limited streaming promotion, but the exact edition, price, region compatibility, disc contents, and stock should be checked before purchase.
A physical set is not required to use Pluto TV. Its advantage is simply that the films remain available after a platform’s temporary rights window closes, subject to the format’s playback requirements.

A companion reference for a 25-film marathon
For viewers who want more than a watchlist, The James Bond Film Guide is an optional companion reference. The authorized guide is described as a 296-page volume covering all 25 official films, making it useful for checking cast, release order, and production context while working through the collection. It is a reference product—not a prerequisite for streaming the films.
Availability checklist
- Check the date of the Pluto TV listing; the headline promotion began December 1, 2025.
- Confirm the country, since the announcement covered the United States and United Kingdom rather than the entire world.
- Look for both the Pluto TV 007 channel and individual on-demand listings.
- Expect advertising because Pluto TV is a free ad-supported service.
- Do not assume the Spanish-language channel gives every title identical audio or subtitle options.
- Verify the current catalog before claiming that all 25 films are still available in August 2026 or at any later date.
Frequently Asked Questions
Were all 25 James Bond films free on Pluto TV?
They were offered at no subscription cost with advertising during Pluto TV’s limited-time promotion beginning December 1, 2025. That does not mean the films were ad-free, and current availability must be checked separately.

Does the 25-film collection include Never Say Never Again?
No. The count covers the official 25-film Eon-produced series. Never Say Never Again and the 1967 spoof Casino Royale are outside that official collection.
Was the Pluto TV Bond promotion available worldwide?
The reported headline availability covered the United States and United Kingdom. Streaming rights vary by territory, so viewers elsewhere should not assume access.

The promotion was described as limited-time and the available research confirms the December 2025 event, not a permanent August 2026 catalog. Check Pluto TV’s current listings before watching or publishing a present-tense availability claim.
The Bottom Line
Pluto TV’s December 2025 promotion was notable because it assembled all 25 official Eon-produced Bond films on a free, ad-supported service, with live 007 channels and on-demand listings. It was a limited, territory-specific streaming event—not a permanent worldwide home for the franchise. For lasting access, readers should verify current digital rights or consider a physical 25-film collection.
