Perry Farrell’s former home in Venice, Los Angeles, was reported for sale at $2,695,000 in October 2025. The reported asking price belongs to that 2025 listing—not a confirmed current offer. The sources available do not establish whether the property later sold, was relisted or remains available.
What is Perry Farrell’s former Venice home like?
Property coverage presents the residence as a modernist home designed to serve as both living space and a music-and-media environment, rather than as a conventional celebrity mansion. Fancy Pants Homes described it in 2025 as a three-bedroom, two-bathroom house with 2,073 square feet; Fox Business also covered the 2025 offering. Those details come from published property reporting, not an independent inspection or a verified current listing sheet.
A vaulted room built around sound and media
The reported centerpiece is a two-story, barrel-vaulted ceiling finished in maple veneer, above an open living, dining and media area. Coverage describes studio-quality surround speakers, concealed film and blue screens, and a custom maple cabinet for audiovisual equipment. The sources do not identify a particular speaker or projector brand, or establish that Farrell recorded a specific album in the house.
Courtyard, pool and rooftop
Sliding glass doors reportedly connect the great room to a courtyard with a lap pool. Published descriptions also mention a rooftop terrace and a three-car garage. The Los Angeles Times’ 2010 coverage described Asian-influenced design and a loft office; its sale story also noted a Korean barbecue built into a raised Japanese table. Those older accounts document what was reported at the time, not necessarily the home’s present condition.

Fancy Pants Homes reported an asking price of $2,695,000 on October 6, 2025. Fox Business described the home as on the market for $2.6 million on October 11, 2025. These are reports about the 2025 offering, not evidence of a 2026 asking price or completed sale. No later status is established by the available coverage.
Who designed Perry Farrell’s former home?
The Venice residence was designed by architect Steven Ehrlich. USModernist and Fox Business describe it as a transformation of a 1949 bungalow; Fox Business reported 1949 as the original build date. The home’s reported combination of a vaulted maple interior, media features and outdoor living spaces gives the renovation its distinctive character.
What did the home sell for in 2010?
The Los Angeles Times reported in March 2010 that Farrell had put the house on the market for $1.6 million. Its May 2010 update reported a sale for $1,425,000. Those historical figures describe the earlier listing and sale, not the property’s current value.

The 2010 Los Angeles Times stories described the home as 2,203 square feet, with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Fancy Pants Homes reported 2,073 square feet in 2025—a 130-square-foot difference. The sources do not explain the discrepancy, so it should not be taken as proof that the house changed size. Both reports give the same bedroom and bathroom count.
| Reporting period | Reported price | Reported area and rooms |

| 2010 listing, Los Angeles Times | $1.6 million asking price | 2,203 square feet; three bedrooms; two bathrooms |

| 2025 coverage, Fancy Pants Homes | $2,695,000 asking price | 2,073 square feet; three bedrooms; two bathrooms |
The figures come from different reporting periods and do not amount to a like-for-like valuation or a market study. The reported area also differs between the 2010 and 2025 accounts.
