Janelle Monáe wore anchor-shaped nipple pasties at a Met Gala 2025 after-party—not as part of her separate look on the gala carpet. Reports place the after-party appearance at the Public Hotel; her carpet ensemble was a Thom Browne design created with costume designer Paul Tazewell.
Where Monáe wore the anchor pasties
Cosmopolitan reported that Monáe wore anchor-shaped nipple pasties at a Met Gala after-party. E! likewise described a topless after-party look and placed the event at the Public Hotel, though its account does not specify the pasties’ shape. How the after-party outfit differed from her gala look
