Christine Obanor and Nigel Jones won Perfect Match Season 2. The pair, both associated with Too Hot to Handle, were voted the season’s most compatible couple by a single vote and won an all-expenses-paid vacation. However, the victory did not lead to a lasting relationship: according to Netflix Tudum’s November 26, 2025 cast update, Christine and Nigel dated on and off for about nine months after filming before separating.
All five couples who reached the Season 2 finale eventually split, based on that same Netflix update. Here is who won, what happened to each finalist couple, and where Harry Jowsey and Jessica Vestal stood after their prominent but non-final pairing.
Who won Perfect Match Season 2?
Christine Obanor and Nigel Jones won Season 2. The finale vote made them the season’s winning couple by a margin of one vote. Their prize was an all-expenses-paid vacation, and the finale update showed them traveling to Thailand several weeks after filming.
The result was notable because Christine and Nigel became a couple relatively late in the season. Christine had previously been involved with Kaz Bishop, but that relationship ended before she explored her connection with Nigel. Their late-season pairing ultimately received more votes than the longer-running relationships in the villa.

Relationship statuses below reflect Netflix Tudum’s consolidated update published November 26, 2025. Reality-show relationships can change after publication, so this should not be read as an independently verified account of every cast member’s status on a later date.
Christine Obanor and Nigel Jones: winners, but no longer together
Christine and Nigel were the Season 2 winners, defeating the other four finalist couples by one vote. Their prize was an all-expenses-paid vacation, and the post-finale update showed them traveling together to Thailand after filming.
They continued dating after leaving Mexico, but the relationship was on and off for approximately nine months. They eventually separated, with both describing the breakup as connected to not being in the right headspace to sustain the relationship. Netflix’s November 2025 update described both as single, although Christine did not completely rule out the possibility of a future reconciliation.
Micah Lussier and Kaz Bishop: not together
Micah and Kaz reached the finale after a turbulent relationship that included separations, jealousy, and other romantic matches. Although they left the show as a couple, they split after filming.
Micah told Tudum that the relationship belonged in Mexico and that Kaz was not the right person for her. Kaz had subsequently begun a new relationship, while Micah said she was keeping her love life private in the November 2025 update.

Alara Taneri and Stevan Ditter: not together
Alara and Stevan appeared to be one of the steadier couples in the villa. They stayed together after their initial match and reached the finale as one of the season’s more established pairings.
They did not remain together after filming. Stevan attributed the breakup largely to long distance and communication difficulties: he was based in Los Angeles, while Alara was based in London. Stevan said he was later seeing someone else.

Elys and Bryton formed their connection near the end of the season, after Elys ended her match with Justin. They made it to the finale but did not continue their relationship after leaving Mexico.
Elys described the breakup as the result of “a lot of drama” and later characterized matching with Bryton as poor judgment in hindsight. Netflix reported that Elys had moved on to a relationship with Nathan from Too Hot to Handle Season 3. Bryton was also described as being in a new relationship.
Tolú Ekundare and Chris Hahn: not together
Tolú and Chris finished the season as a couple, but their relationship did not continue beyond the show. Tolú said that they were no longer in a relationship and described their current relationship as nonexistent.
Netflix’s November 2025 update described Tolú as single. Their finale appearance therefore followed the same pattern as the other finalist couples: a relationship that survived long enough to reach the final vote but not the transition to life after filming.

What happened to Harry Jowsey and Jessica Vestal?
Harry Jowsey and Jessica Vestal were not one of the five couples in the finale, but they were among Season 2’s most prominent pairings. They connected after Jess entered the villa and later broke up following allegations surrounding Harry’s kiss with Melinda Melrose.
They were no longer together in the post-finale update. Jess said that she and Harry were neither friends nor enemies, while Harry described himself as single.
Why the finale result was surprising
The finale highlighted a distinction between being the strongest couple inside the competition and having the relationship with the greatest chance of lasting outside it. Alara and Stevan had one of the longer and steadier villa connections, while Christine and Nigel were among the newest finalist pairings.
Nevertheless, the cast’s vote awarded Christine and Nigel the title. Winning the game also did not guarantee long-term compatibility: all five finalist couples had separated by the time of Netflix Tudum’s November 2025 status report.
