OnlyFans did have a mobile app—but it was not the app many people expected. Called OFTV, it was a separate, free video service for creator programming. The app launched publicly in 2021 with a safe-for-work catalog rather than the adult subscription feed associated with the main OnlyFans platform.
OnlyFans did have a mobile app—but it was not a mobile version of the main OnlyFans subscription service. The app was called OFTV, a separate, free video platform for creator programming. When it was publicly promoted in August 2021, its catalog was described as safe for work and contained no adult content, which is why it could be distributed through Apple’s App Store and Google Play.
That distinction matters. OFTV let people watch videos from OnlyFans creators without paying for an OnlyFans subscription, but it did not provide the paid adult-content feed that made the OnlyFans name famous.
What was OFTV?
OFTV was presented in 2021 as OnlyFans’ first publicly promoted mobile app. Contemporary reporting said the service had been soft-launched in January of that year before receiving wider promotion in August.

At launch, the app was available for iPhone and Android devices. It offered more than 800 videos from over 100 creators, with programming in categories including:
- Fitness
- Cooking
- Music
- Podcasts
- Comedy
- Interviews
- Vlogging and other creator-led programming
The launch-era service was free to watch, did not require a paid OnlyFans subscription, and was reported to carry no advertising. It was therefore closer to a curated creator-video service than to an app for managing or browsing the regular OnlyFans subscription feed.
Why was there no adult content?
The answer was partly commercial and partly dictated by mobile app-store rules. Google Play does not allow apps that contain or promote pornography or sexually gratifying content. Apple’s App Store rules likewise restrict apps used primarily for pornographic content, although Apple’s guidelines provide limited exceptions for some incidental mature user-generated material when it is moderated, hidden by default, and subject to age controls.
A mainstream mobile app carrying the full adult subscription experience associated with OnlyFans would therefore face a very different approval and compliance problem from a curated, non-explicit video app. OFTV was designed around that distinction: it separated the creator-video material that could be distributed through app stores from the adult subscription business that remained associated with the main OnlyFans website.

OnlyFans chief executive Tim Stokely also said the app’s structure allowed it to be distributed through the stores because it did not contain adult content and was not monetized in a way that directly affected creator earnings.
OFTV was also a branding exercise
OFTV was not merely a technical workaround for watching OnlyFans videos on a phone. It reflected an attempt to broaden the company’s public identity.
OnlyFans had become strongly associated with adult material, even though creators on the platform also produced fitness, lifestyle, music, cooking, comedy, and other types of content. A free, non-explicit video app gave the company a way to showcase those categories to a wider audience—including people who might never pay for an OnlyFans subscription.
In that sense, OFTV was intended to emphasize OnlyFans as a creator platform and entertainment brand, rather than leaving the company defined exclusively by its adult-content reputation.

Is OFTV the same thing as the main OnlyFans app?
No. OFTV should not be described as a normal mobile app for the main OnlyFans website.
| Feature | OFTV | Main OnlyFans service |
|---|---|---|
| Primary purpose | Watching creator-produced video programming | Following creators through a subscription-based platform |
| Cost to watch | Free, according to the official store descriptions | Creators can charge for subscriptions and other content |
| App-store availability | Distributed as a separate creator-video app | Not represented by OFTV |
| Content model | Curated creator programming | The broader creator subscription experience associated with OnlyFans |
Installing OFTV does not give a user access to a creator’s paid OnlyFans page, subscription feed, private messages, or other features of the main service. It is a separate product with a separate purpose.
Does OFTV still exist?
Yes. The app was not simply a discontinued experiment from 2021.
According to the research snapshot dated August 12, 2026, Apple’s U.S. App Store still listed OFTV as a free entertainment app from OF Media LLC. The listing covered iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, Apple-silicon Mac computers, and Apple Vision, with version history extending through August 6, 2025. It described OFTV as a free video platform featuring original content from OnlyFans creators and said that viewing did not require advertising or a login.

Google Play also listed OFTV, under OF Media Productions Limited. Its listing showed more than 5 million downloads and recorded an update on February 12, 2026. The description continued to identify categories such as fitness, home cooking, music, comedy, influencing, and vlogging.
The official OFTV website also listed versions for Android, iOS, Roku, Fire TV, Apple TV, Android TV, Samsung TV, and LG TV, alongside creator channels and current programming. Availability and catalog details can vary by country, device, and platform, so the presence of a feature on one listing does not guarantee that every viewer will see exactly the same selection.

The launch-era answer was clear: reporting in 2021 described OFTV as containing no adult content. The present-day answer needs more care.
Current official listings still describe OFTV as a free creator-video service rather than as the adult subscription feed. However, the current Apple listing carries a 16+ age rating and mature-content metadata. That does not establish that OFTV has become the same product as the main OnlyFans service, but it does mean that an absolute present-tense claim that the app can never contain nudity or mature material would go beyond the available evidence.

The most accurate description is that OFTV is a separate, primarily safe-for-work creator-video platform, while the 2021 launch catalog explicitly excluded adult content. Users should consult the current store listing and the app’s own content controls in their region if the distinction is important to them.
The bottom line: an OnlyFans app, but not that OnlyFans app
The headline was accurate but easy to misunderstand. OnlyFans’ first publicly promoted mobile app was OFTV, available on Android and iOS in 2021. It offered free, non-explicit creator videos—not the paid adult subscription feed associated with the main OnlyFans platform.
OFTV remains listed across major mobile stores and connected-TV platforms as of the August 12, 2026 research snapshot. Its continued availability reinforces the original distinction: OnlyFans built a separate app for broadly accessible creator entertainment, rather than putting the full subscription service into an ordinary app-store download.

OFTV launched with more than 800 videos from over 100 creators, covering areas such as fitness, cooking, music, podcasts, comedy, interviews, and vlogging. The launch-era catalog was reported to contain no adult content.
Is OFTV still available?
Yes. The research snapshot dated August 12, 2026 found OFTV listed on Apple’s App Store and Google Play, as well as on the official website for platforms including Roku, Fire TV, Apple TV, Android TV, Samsung TV, and LG TV. Availability may vary by region and device.
The Bottom Line
OFTV is an official OnlyFans-related video app, not a mobile version of the main OnlyFans subscription service. It launched with free, non-explicit creator programming and remains available on mobile and connected-TV platforms, although current content ratings mean the 2021 “no adult content” description should not automatically be treated as an absolute rule for every current catalog or region.
