Which service fits your workflow?
Choose OneStream Live for more destinations or scheduled prerecorded video

Its product page says the service supports more than 45 social platforms and web destinations, accepts external encoders such as OBS and Zoom, and can schedule prerecorded content. Check the exact supported account or page type for every destination you plan to use, along with storage, bandwidth, team seats, and billing mode.

Compare the details that change the decision
Destinations and account compatibility
A destination cap is only useful if the service supports the specific account type you want to connect. Make a list of the channels, pages, or custom RTMP endpoints you need, then confirm each one is supported on your intended plan. The published counts are plan ceilings, not a guarantee that every destination type is available to every account.
Studio versus encoder workflow
StreamYard emphasizes an in-browser production studio. OneStream Live says it accepts external encoders such as OBS and Zoom. Restream offers its own Studio as well as custom RTMP for destinations that provide an RTMP URL and stream key. Pick the workflow that matches how you make the program: a browser studio, an encoder you already operate, or a mix.

Guests, branding, chat, and recordings
For guest production, StreamYard’s Advanced plan lists up to 15 backstage participants. Its Core plan lists unlimited streaming and recording, while Advanced lists 4K local recordings. Restream is a candidate when its chat tools are important. Compare the vendor’s current storage, retention, export, and participant limits as well as the headline features; they are not established equally across the plan information summarized here.
Live versus prerecorded content
If you need scheduled prerecorded streams, OneStream Live explicitly lists that workflow; its free plan limits each prerecorded stream to 15 minutes. StreamYard lists two hours on Core and four hours on Advanced. Restream supports prerecorded Upload & Stream, but the summarized pricing information does not establish a duration cap. Confirm the limit on the plan you would buy.

Resolution and price
OneStream Live lists 720p on Free and Basic and 1080p on Standard and higher, with displayed monthly prices from $0 to $139. StreamYard Core lists 1080p and Advanced lists 4K local recordings; that local-recording figure does not mean the live stream itself is 4K. Restream’s listed 1080p support applies to Professional in Restream Studio. Check the current pages for the exact plan price, billing cycle, renewal amount, and whether a resolution applies to the live stream or a recording.
