Release date, rating and runtime
Paramount Global Content lists the premiere date as November 4, 2022. Saban Films identifies the film as rated R. Apple TV’s US catalog also lists an R rating, with language throughout and some violent content.
Official listings disagree about the length, so there is no single runtime that can be stated without qualification:
Rank #2
| Listing | Runtime shown | Context |
|---|---|---|
| Paramount Global Content | 90 minutes | Title-page metadata |
| Saban Films | 104 minutes | Title-page metadata |
| Apple TV (United States) | 1 hour 44 minutes | Catalog listing for the 2022 film |
The 104-minute and 1-hour-44-minute entries are equivalent; the unresolved discrepancy is between those listings and Paramount’s 90-minute figure.
Where can you watch On the Line?
Availability depends on the viewer’s country and the date checked. The Prime Video listing presents digital rental and purchase options and also shows a DVD format. It does not establish a worldwide price or permanent availability. Search for “On the Line 2022 DVD” if you want the physical release, then confirm the seller’s region, format and current price.

Netflix has a listing that reports the title is not currently available in the country represented by that page. That result should not be treated as a statement about every Netflix territory. Check the live catalog for your country before renting, buying or expecting a subscription stream.
Critical reception
Apple TV’s US page displays a Rotten Tomatoes panel showing a 17% Tomatometer from 23 reviews and an average score of 3.9. Those figures are a platform display captured with the catalog listing and can change as the service updates its data; they should not be presented as a timeless or independently verified score.

No. Despite appearing on a documentary-focused site, On the Line is a scripted thriller. Its story, characters and radio-station crisis are fictional dramatic elements.
