The stainless-steel Omega Seamaster Diver 300M 60 Years of James Bond is reference 210.30.42.20.03.002: a 42 mm anniversary model whose blue wave dial looks back to the watch Bond wore in GoldenEye (1995). It is not the Omega worn in Skyfall—that was a Seamaster Aqua Terra.
What is the Omega James Bond 60th-anniversary watch?
It is a special-edition Seamaster Diver 300M released for the 60th anniversary of the James Bond film franchise. The stainless-steel model’s reference number is 210.30.42.20.03.002. OMEGA describes its design as drawing inspiration from the Diver 300M worn by Bond in GoldenEye in 1995, the first Bond film to feature an OMEGA watch. OMEGA’s product page identifies the reference and specifications.
Steel model: design and specifications
| Feature | Steel anniversary model |
|---|---|
| Reference | 210.30.42.20.03.002 |
| Case | 42 mm stainless steel |
| Dial | Blue oxalic-anodized aluminium with laser-engraved waves, as described by OMEGA |
| Bezel detail | A commemorative “60” takes the place of the usual inverted triangle at the 12 o’clock marker |
| Movement | OMEGA Co-Axial Master Chronometer calibre 8806 |
| Magnetic resistance | OMEGA specifies resistance to magnetic fields above 1.5 tesla (15,000 gauss); this is a manufacturer specification, not an independent test reported here |
The dial and bezel
The blue dial’s engraved wave pattern recalls the earlier Diver 300M associated with GoldenEye. The bezel makes the anniversary theme explicit: its “60” replaces the standard inverted triangle at the top marker.
The animated caseback
The caseback depicts Bond in silhouette against the circular gun-barrel opening sequence. OMEGA describes an animation effect connected to the lollipop-shaped seconds hand, so the display changes as the hand moves.

The presentation box
The steel watch is presented in a blue wooden box decorated with the original Diver 300M pattern. OMEGA says the box includes a concealed push button.
The two 60th-anniversary Seamaster variants
The official James Bond announcement identifies both a stainless-steel model and an 18K Canopus Gold version. Their visual references differ: the steel watch points to GoldenEye, while the gold edition draws on Jamaica and Dr. No. The James Bond announcement describes the gold model’s materials and design.

Is the Skyfall Omega the 60th-anniversary Seamaster?
No. OMEGA identifies the watch worn in the 2012 film Skyfall as a Seamaster Aqua Terra, not the anniversary Diver 300M. The anniversary collection commemorates 60 years of Bond films and uses a design inspired by the GoldenEye-era Diver 300M; it is not a 60th-anniversary edition of the Skyfall watch. OMEGA’s Skyfall chronicle identifies the 2012 model.

Why do sources give different launch dates?
OMEGA’s product page says the steel watch was “Launched in 2022,” while the James Bond announcement says the 60th-anniversary watches “launch January 2023.” Neither source explains whether the dates refer to announcement, launch event or market availability, so they should be treated as different source descriptions rather than a fully reconciled timeline.
