OBS में YouTube पर stream करते समय network dropped frames बढ़ें तो पहले video bitrate कम करके अपने स्थिर upload के भीतर लाएँ, फिर wired Ethernet, ingest server और network-संबंधी software जाँचें। यह counter बताता है कि OBS आपके चुने हुए bitrate पर YouTube के ingest server से भरोसेमंद connection नहीं बनाए रख पा रहा—यह अपने-आप में rendering lag, encoding lag या दर्शकों की buffering का संकेत नहीं है। भारत के लिए कोई अलग जादुई OBS setting स्थापित नहीं है; सही bitrate वही है जो आपके connection और YouTube की चुनी हुई video settings दोनों के अनुकूल हो।
पहले पता करें कि कौन-सा dropped-frames counter बढ़ रहा है
OBS के Stats या status area में dropped frames और connection indicator देखें। OBS Project के अनुसार बढ़ता network dropped-frames counter और पीला या लाल connection indicator बताता है कि streaming server से connection अस्थिर है या चुने हुए bitrate को संभाल नहीं पा रहा। OBS कमजोर connection या अपर्याप्त throughput की भरपाई में frames छोड़ सकता है। OBS की connection troubleshooting guide देखें।
- Network dropped frames: computer से YouTube ingest server तक का रास्ता या उपलब्ध sustained upload चुने हुए bitrate के लिए पर्याप्त भरोसेमंद नहीं है।
- Rendering या encoding lag: ये network dropped frames से अलग समस्याएँ हैं। यदि network counter नहीं बढ़ रहा, तो network bitrate घटाने को हर समस्या का समाधान न मानें; OBS के Help Portal में संबंधित performance या encoding troubleshooting देखें।
- दर्शकों की buffering: यह viewer के connection, location या device से भी हो सकती है, भले creator के OBS में frames न गिर रहे हों। OBS की stream buffering guide इस अंतर को समझाती है।
एक ही समय पर अलग counters देखना उपयोगी है: network dropped frames बढ़ें तो पहले connection और throughput जाँचें; rendering या encoding lag बढ़े तो उसी समस्या के लिए अलग diagnosis करें।
अपने stream workload पर connection जाँचें

Bitrate को अपनी स्थिर upload क्षमता के अनुरूप रखें

YouTube की bitrate recommendation को चुने गए codec, resolution और frame rate के साथ पढ़ें। YouTube Help की 2026-10-03 को देखी गई live encoder table में H.264, 1080p और 60 fps के लिए 12 Mbps recommended है। यह YouTube की encoder-setting recommendation है—भारतीय creators के connection पर मापा हुआ आँकड़ा नहीं। यदि आपका connection उस bitrate को स्थिर रूप से नहीं संभालता, तो drops रोकने के लिए उसे जबरन चुनने के बजाय कम bitrate, resolution या frame rate आज़माएँ।

YouTube और OBS की अहम encoder settings मिलाएँ
OBS और YouTube में stream configuration मेल न खाने पर Live Control Room errors दे सकता है। YouTube की encoder guidance RTMP/RTMPS, CBR और दो सेकंड की recommended keyframe frequency बताती है; keyframe interval चार सेकंड से अधिक न रखें। बेहतर transcoding के लिए YouTube closed GOP भी निर्दिष्ट करता है। चुना resolution और stream configuration भी एक-दूसरे से मेल खाने चाहिए। विवरण और वर्तमान codec/bitrate table के लिए YouTube का live encoder settings पृष्ठ देखें।
- Bitrate control: CBR चुनें।
- Keyframe interval: दो सेकंड रखें; चार सेकंड से अधिक न हो।
- Codec और resolution: YouTube की वर्तमान table और आपके stream configuration के अनुरूप चुनें। YouTube guide RTMP/RTMPS के लिए H.264, H.265/HEVC और AV1 का समर्थन बताती है।
- GOP: YouTube optimal transcoding के लिए closed GOP बताता है।
YouTube Live Control Room के incoming-stream checks और error messages को पढ़ें। हर warning network drops नहीं होती: उदाहरण के लिए, keyframe interval या stream configuration की गलती को उसी setting में सुधारें। YouTube की live streaming error messages guide संबंधित error के अनुसार जाँचने में मदद करती है।
नेटवर्क को चरण-दर-चरण अलग करके जाँचें
Wi-Fi के बजाय Ethernet आज़माएँ
संभव हो तो computer को router से wired Ethernet से जोड़कर वही test दोहराएँ। OBS के मुताबिक Wi-Fi streaming के लिए अस्थिर हो सकता है और wired connection की सलाह दी जाती है। Ethernet cable केवल Wi-Fi link को अलग करके जाँचने का तरीका है; यह ISP congestion, router fault या YouTube तक खराब route ठीक करने की गारंटी नहीं। कोई खास cable category या brand आवश्यक नहीं है।

दूसरा ingest server परीक्षण के तौर पर चुनें
यदि OBS या streaming service ingest server चुनने देती है, तो दूसरा server आज़माएँ। OBS इसे diagnostic step के रूप में सुझाता है। यदि दूसरा server बेहतर चले, तो यह service या route-विशेष समस्या का संकेत हो सकता है; इससे यह साबित नहीं होता कि घर का connection पूरी तरह स्वस्थ है।
VPN, firewall और network utilities की जाँच करें
OBS connection troubleshooting VPN, firewall या antivirus interference, Lenovo Vantage या Killer NIC जैसी bundled network optimization utilities और पुराने network drivers को संभावित कारणों में गिनती है। बदलाव एक-एक करके करें और हर बार test दोहराएँ। Security software को अस्थायी रूप से बंद करना हो तो सिर्फ diagnosis के लिए करें, उसके बाद सुरक्षा फिर चालू करें; जरूरत पड़े तो केवल OBS के लिए सीमित, उचित exception बनाएँ।

Drivers और स्थानीय network load देखें
Network adapter के driver को उसके निर्माता या computer vendor के मार्गदर्शन के अनुसार जाँचें। परीक्षण के दौरान router पर चल रहे अन्य बड़े uploads या downloads रोककर देखें कि drops बदलते हैं या नहीं। इससे पता चल सकता है कि उपलब्ध upload को दूसरा traffic बाँट रहा है; अगर नतीजा न बदले तो यह अकेला कारण नहीं था।

OBS के network विकल्प कब आज़माएँ
OBS connection guide Windows पर Settings → Advanced → Network में network optimizations और TCP pacing सक्षम करने को विकल्प के रूप में सूचीबद्ध करती है। यदि मूल connection और bitrate जाँच के बाद भी समस्या रहे, तो इन्हें एक-एक करके आज़माएँ ताकि बदलाव का असर समझ सकें। ये विकल्प हर dropped-frames समस्या का निश्चित इलाज नहीं हैं।
OBS का dynamic bitrate connection साथ न दे तो bitrate घटा सकता है। OBS के अनुसार इससे root cause ठीक नहीं होता और image quality घट सकती है; इसे लगातार समस्या छिपाने के बजाय अस्थिर connection के दौरान stream बनाए रखने का समझौता मानें। IP family को सामान्यतः IPv4 और IPv6 default पर रहने दें। OBS कहता है कि IPv4-only करने से फर्क न पड़े तो उसे बदलने की जरूरत नहीं। इन विकल्पों की शर्तें OBS connection troubleshooting guide में दी गई हैं।
