Hints for the February 26 Strands puzzle
The theme points to a competition in which fire can determine whether a player stays in the game. Parade’s hint guide says the spangram runs horizontally from left to right. Its listed starting-letter pairs are IM, AL, RE, ME, JU, CH, and SU. Source: Parade
How Strands hints work
According to the rules summarized by Parade, theme words remain blue when found, and letters can be selected by dragging or tapping. Find three words that are not part of the theme to earn a hint: it reveals letters of a theme word, or, if a hint is already active for that word, shows their order.
