How Strands hints work
Strands uses a 6×8 grid. Connect adjacent letters horizontally, vertically, or diagonally to trace theme words. The spangram describes the theme and touches two opposite sides of the board. Finding three non-theme words earns an in-game hint that reveals letters in an unsolved theme word; you still need to trace the answer yourself.
PC Guide lists BEND, DRIES, GAPE, MULES, SOAR, and STIR as valid non-theme words for this puzzle. These are examples, not necessarily the only words the game accepts.
