Why the word associations are tricky
The romance hint can pull attention toward words that belong elsewhere. Love is a tennis score, while Passion completes the phrase “passion fruit.” The intended romantic set is Couple, Item, Pair and Thing. The source’s account also describes Deuce initially nudging the solver toward the romantic grouping before the tennis-score pattern became clear.
