Are Ricky Schroder and Julie Trammel still engaged?
No. They married on July 9, 2025, at the Four Seasons in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. The couple announced the marriage in a joint social-media post on August 20, 2025.
They had obtained a marriage license at the Ouray County courthouse in Colorado on July 2 and had hoped to marry there on July 4, but the courthouse was closed for the holiday. Instead, they held an intimate Cabo ceremony attended only by the two of them. They described the wedding day as “a dream come true.” Schroder wrote in a comment on their wedding post: “I didn’t want the evening to ever end…so I married you 🌸.”

Why is Ricky Schroder linked to NYPD Blue?
The headline reference comes from Schroder’s role as Detective Danny Sorenson on ABC’s NYPD Blue. A 1998 Los Angeles Times profile identified Sorenson as Andy Sipowicz’s new partner and reported that executive producer and co-creator David Milch felt Schroder worked most naturally with Dennis Franz among the actors he auditioned.
