What is the tone?
Netflix classifies No Good Deed as a dark comedy. Its humor comes from the collision between polished real-estate fantasies and the private damage concealed behind them. The villa looks like a promise of security, but the competing buyers’ urgency and the sellers’ secrets make the sale increasingly threatening.

Netflix’s trailer description presents the conflict this way: “The sale of Paul and Lydia’s picture-perfect LA home forces them to face painful family secrets – and hide them from prying eyes and cutthroat buyers.” That wording reflects the show’s emphasis on secrecy, family protection and ruthless competition.
