Without the original Viall Files segment or a reliable report identifying her, naming someone would turn an unconfirmed claim into fact. ABC’s season 28 cast announcement establishes who competed that season, but it does not establish Viall’s prediction or an official Bachelorette selection.
Who did Nick Viall predict would be the next Bachelorette?
The contestant’s identity is unverified in the available reporting. No located source ties a named season 28 contestant to the prediction, so it would be misleading to guess based on later casting news or fan speculation.

A prediction, even if accurately reported, is not an ABC casting announcement. The sources available here do not confirm that ABC selected a season 28 contestant as the next Bachelorette.
What ABC confirmed about Bachelor season 28
In its January 10, 2024 announcement, ABC named Joey Graziadei as season 28’s lead and published a cast list of 32 women, including Daisy, Jenn, Kelsey A. and Maria. ABC described the group as “the most to ever arrive at the mansion on night one”—a promotional claim about that season’s cast.
#1 Best Overall
The cast list confirms who appeared on season 28; it does not establish which contestant Viall may have predicted would become the Bachelorette.
Why a later Nick Viall casting comment is a different story
A March 13, 2025 Us Weekly report covered a separate comment on The Viall Files. Viall reportedly said he knew an unnamed woman from an older Bachelor season who had been seriously considered for a future Bachelorette role; the report says he denied that the woman was Maria Georgas.
Rank #2
That report does not identify the woman, connect her to season 28, or verify the prediction in this headline. It should not be used as evidence for a season 28 contestant’s identity.

ABC’s show page identifies Grant Ellis as the lead for the upcoming 29th season and links to season 28 recaps and news. That provides franchise context, not confirmation of Viall’s prediction or an appointment to the Bachelorette role.
