The schedule below is specific to Canada and separates titles included in the regular Prime Video catalogue from programming available only through paid Prime Video Channels.
Release dates are the announced Canadian dates reported in the schedule; streaming availability and licensing windows can change after publication. For the primary Canada-specific calendar, see MobileSyrup’s Prime Video Canada list. Amazon’s April 2025 announcement is useful context, but its U.S. schedule should not be treated as a Canadian catalogue.

What was scheduled to leave Prime Video Canada in April?
The following were the announced April 2025 departures in the Canada schedule. These are licensing dates, not guarantees that a title will disappear permanently or at precisely the same time for every viewer. If you want to watch one, check its listing before the date shown.
Rank #3
- April 1: Ride on Time seasons 1–5
- April 3: Firehouse Dog
- April 6: Code Name Banshee, Sniper’s Eye: Fortress, Chi’s Sweet Adventure season 2, and Abandoned
- April 7: Bad Comment and The Boys in the Boat
- April 12: Asteroid City
- April 13: Pearl
- April 20: Vendetta
- April 23: My Spy
- April 26: Pari and Every Body
- April 27: Ruby Gillman, Teenage Kraken and Every Body
- April 28: The Contractor
Every Body appeared on two reported departure dates, April 26 and April 27. That kind of discrepancy is another reason to treat a published licensing calendar as provisional and confirm the title directly in Prime Video Canada.
Canada versus the U.S.: why lists do not match
Prime Video catalogues are regional. The U.S. Amazon April list included items and dates that do not appear in the Canada-specific schedule, including Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX, Godfather of Harlem, episodes of The Wheel of Time season 3, and a larger batch of licensed films listed for April 1.
Rank #4
Those U.S. entries should not be added to a Canadian watchlist unless a Canada-specific listing confirms them. A title being announced by Amazon for Prime Video in the United States does not establish that it is available on Prime Video Canada.

How to use this schedule
- Start with the service label: Check whether the title is in the standard Prime Video catalogue or belongs to a paid Channel.
- Check the Canadian listing: Search the title inside Prime Video Canada rather than relying on a U.S. result or an old search-engine snippet.
- Watch departing titles first: If a film is leaving later in the month, its licensing window takes priority over a new release with a fixed arrival date.
- Recheck dates: Streaming rights can change after a schedule is published, particularly for licensed films and Channel programming.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the biggest new release on Prime Video Canada in April 2025?
The month’s most prominent additions include The Handmaid’s Tale season 6 on April 8, G20 on April 10, The Bondsman on April 3, Étoile on April 24 and Nosferatu on April 29.

- Factory sealed DVD
Is The Last of Us season 2 included with Prime Video Canada?
The April schedule listed The Last of Us season 2 through the Crave Prime Video Channel on April 13. It should therefore be treated as Channel content requiring a separate subscription, not as part of the base Prime Video catalogue.
Are all titles in this list available throughout Canada?
The list is the Canada-specific schedule, but licensing and channel availability can still change. Confirm the title in your Canadian Prime Video account, especially for departures and Channel programming.
Why is the Canadian Prime Video April list different from the U.S. list?
Prime Video content is licensed by territory. The U.S. April announcement included titles and dates that were not confirmed for Canada, so U.S. additions should not be assumed to apply to Canadian viewers.

For Canadian Prime Video viewers, April 2025 was anchored by the final season of The Handmaid’s Tale, G20, The Bondsman, Absolution, Étoile and Nosferatu. Keep the Channel titles and announced departures separate from the included catalogue, and verify availability in Prime Video Canada because streaming schedules can change.
