Paramount+’s announced U.S. schedule for March 2025 included premieres, returning series, specials, library movies and CBS programming. The main dates to know: Sin City Gigolo: A Murder in Las Vegas premiered March 4, Happy Face began March 20, and the schedule placed a broad wave of films on March 1. Some entries were limited to Paramount+ with SHOWTIME, while CBS programs had different live-stream and on-demand timing by plan. This is a historical release calendar, not a claim about what is available now.
Notable March 2025 premieres and picks
For a documentary-focused watch, the schedule’s clearest new true-crime entry was Sin City Gigolo: A Murder in Las Vegas, listed as a three-part docuseries premiere on March 4. For music, Tom Petty: Heartbreakers Beach Party Extended was scheduled for March 11; the schedule described it as a film restored from its original 16mm source.
Other notable premieres included Happy Face, a crime drama starring Annaleigh Ashford and Dennis Quaid, on March 20. Tom’s Guide describes it as based on Melissa Moore’s story and her father, known as the Happy Face Killer. The same guide describes Strange Darling as a nonlinear thriller built around a cat-and-mouse encounter, and Rumours as an absurd comedy-horror about G7 leaders facing danger in the woods. Those two films were marked for Paramount+ with SHOWTIME only.
For a movie-night choice from the library, the March 1 additions included Ex Machina, Pan’s Labyrinth, Pulp Fiction, There Will Be Blood, Edge of Tomorrow and A League of Their Own. These were catalog additions, not new Paramount+ premieres.

How plan access and timing worked
The schedule distinguished between titles available on Paramount+ generally and entries labeled for Paramount+ with SHOWTIME. In particular, Strange Darling and Rumours carried the SHOWTIME-only label. The schedule also used a double-asterisk marker for CBS programming: subscribers with SHOWTIME could watch the live feed, while subscribers on other plans received marked programs on demand the following day. Ringo & Friends at the Ryman had this live-versus-next-day distinction stated directly.

The schedule article, published February 26, 2025, explicitly cautioned: “Dates for library titles are subject to change.” TV Guide’s corroborating schedule page was updated March 26, 2025. If you are checking for a film or show now, search for it in the Paramount+ app: a historical announced date does not confirm that the title remains in the U.S. catalog, nor that it is available in another country or on every plan.
