Netflix introduced My Netflix on July 24, 2023, as a mobile hub for titles and activity relevant to you. It is still part of Netflix’s interface, including on supported TVs and streaming devices—but it is not a new 2026 launch, and its location and contents vary by device, app version, profile, and region.
Use it to get back to saved titles, unfinished shows, downloads, reminders, and other personalized items without starting from the full catalog. Netflix’s launch announcement and its current TV-interface guide describe the feature across its evolution.
What is My Netflix?
My Netflix is a personalized destination inside the Netflix app: a shortcut to content you have saved, started, downloaded, rated, watched, or marked for a future reminder. It is intended mainly for retrieving things already relevant to you, rather than browsing Netflix’s entire catalog.

It is not a separate app or subscription tier, and it does not replace Home, Search, or Netflix’s discovery sections. It is also not a universal watchlist shared between profiles: activity and saved items are associated with the profile where they were created.

What appears in My Netflix?
When Netflix announced the mobile feature, it said the hub would bring together Downloads, My List, titles given a thumbs-up, watched trailers, reminders, Continue Watching, and recently watched titles. Netflix’s current TV documentation describes a related set of destinations, including My List, Continue Watching, watched and liked titles, reminders, and personalized recommendations.
- My List: titles you deliberately saved to watch later.
- Continue Watching: films or episodes you have started and can resume.
- Downloads: available offline titles, where supported and present on the profile.
- Reminders: upcoming titles for which you selected Remind Me.
- Liked titles and other viewing activity: personalization signals and recently relevant content.
- Watched trailers: included among the categories Netflix named at launch, though the company does not promise a permanent, complete trailer history.
Not every row will appear for every user. Netflix can reorder, rename, hide, or add rows, and some sections only make sense when your profile has relevant activity—for example, a Downloads row may not be useful if you have no downloads.
How to find My Netflix
On a phone or tablet
Open the Netflix app and look for My Netflix in its navigation. Netflix’s mobile navigation has changed since the 2023 launch, so the placement may not match older screenshots. On supported layouts, open My Netflix and scroll to find My List or another relevant row. Netflix’s My List help page describes the mobile route.

At launch, contemporary coverage reported that My Netflix replaced the dedicated Downloads shortcut in the mobile bottom navigation. That describes the original navigation change, not a rule that applies to every current app version. If you cannot see Downloads, open My Netflix and look for its Downloads row.
On a TV or streaming device
- Open Netflix and go to the top navigation menu.
- Select My Netflix, if it is available in your interface.
- Browse rows such as My List, Continue Watching, reminders, or liked content.
Netflix documents My Netflix in its redesigned TV experience, where shortcuts can appear in the top menu. The layout and controls differ among devices; on the documented interface, the remote’s Back button can return to the top menu. See Netflix’s TV experience guide for details.
Setting and managing reminders
For some upcoming titles, Netflix offers a Remind Me control on the title page. Select it to mark your interest. The title may then appear in a Reminders You’ve Set row in My Netflix on mobile or TV.

Netflix may send an in-app notification or email when the title becomes available. These alerts are not a guaranteed calendar appointment or a promise of delivery through a particular channel. App permissions and communication settings can matter, and release information can change. Netflix says production delays or licensing issues may alter release dates; if a date changes, a title may reappear once Netflix has a new one.

My Netflix, My List, and other Netflix sections

My Netflix can make previously encountered titles easier to find, but it is not necessarily the best place to discover every upcoming release. Netflix’s discovery labels vary by device and may include New & Popular, Latest, New & Hot, New on Netflix, Top 10, or coming-soon sections. Does My Netflix affect recommendations?
Netflix says actions such as adding titles to My List, rating them with a thumbs-up, and watching trailers help personalize what appears in My Netflix and can inform recommendations. That does not mean every action will immediately change every row or produce a visible recommendation change. The feature is a convenience hub as well as a reflection of activity, not a guaranteed recommendation control.

Netflix’s original announcement described a global introduction to iOS and Android, with iOS availability beginning July 24, 2023, and Android rollout planned for early August. That is historical rollout information, not a current timetable. Netflix’s later support documentation also describes My Netflix on TV and streaming devices, but the exact interface is not uniform.

Netflix’s mobile layout has continued to evolve, including changes documented in its mobile-layout and Clips help page. A row may also be absent simply because the profile has no relevant saved titles, reminders, downloads, or activity.

If the tab or a row is not visible
- Update Netflix using the device’s official app store.
- Check that you are using the intended profile; lists, viewing activity, and reminders can be profile-specific.
- Close and reopen the app, then check the navigation again.
- If the interface still appears stuck, sign out and back in.
- Check for equivalent sections such as My List, Downloads, or Continue Watching, and consider whether the device supports the current layout.
- If My Netflix remains absent on an updated device that should support it, contact Netflix support.
Reinstalling should be a last resort: it may remove locally stored downloads. If a reminder seems to have disappeared, check the profile and the title page; its release date or availability may have changed, or Netflix may have moved the relevant row.
When My Netflix is most useful
Choose My Netflix when you want to pick up where you left off, revisit something you saved, find a download, or check a reminder. Use Home to browse personalized suggestions, Search to find a particular title, and Netflix’s new-release or trending areas to explore what is coming or recently arrived. My Netflix reduces repeat browsing; it is not a complete archive of every title or trailer you have ever encountered, nor does it guarantee that a title remains available to stream.
