What is Harriet and Alden Parker’s relationship like?
Their tension comes partly from how different they were growing up. In a TVLine interview, showrunner Steven D. Binder characterized Alden as the troubled sibling and Harriet as the well-behaved one: “He was the bad kid, and she was the good kid.” Binder also described Harriet as a “super squared-away admiral” and said the contrast shapes how the siblings deal with each other during a crisis. These are Binder’s descriptions of the characters, not dialogue from the episode. TVLine interview with Steven D. Binder
