What is “Jacky’s Journey” about?
TLC’s short description frames the episode around Jacky’s wish to start over and the weight-loss goal she faces: “Jacky is determined to start over, but first she’s got 500 pounds to lose.” The 500-pound figure is presented as a goal in TLC’s synopsis, not as a confirmed outcome or a total loss achieved during the episode. NOW’s streaming synopsis adds context, describing Jacky as 6 feet 3 inches tall and over 700 pounds, and saying she has felt out of place. It also connects the deaths of her parents with her opportunity to discover the world anew. What can—and can’t—be confirmed about the episode
The listings establish Jacky’s stated starting-over premise and the weight-loss goal in TLC’s synopsis. NOW supplies additional biographical framing, along with its listed runtime. Neither listing gives a full account of events.
