What did the photos show?
ITV News reported on 16 April 2024 that Markle had sent friends and influencers jars of strawberry jam as the first product from American Riviera Orchard (ITV News). Designer Tracy Robbins was among the named recipients whose post circulated: Town & Country described her photo of a basket containing lemons and a jar with the brand’s label (Town & Country).
Was the jam available to buy?
The photos documented a promotional sample, not a confirmed consumer launch of the pictured jam. Contemporary reports described a limited, numbered batch, but that does not establish that the jar was offered for general sale.
What was American Riviera Orchard intended to include?
Associated Press coverage of the brand’s earlier announcement reported trademark application categories covering jams and other food spreads, cookbooks, and household goods (Associated Press). Those categories describe proposed areas of protection; they do not confirm that every category became a product available to customers.
