Set after Korra, the animated series follows Pavi and a small team as they try to save civilization’s last strongholds.
Who is Pavi, the new Avatar?
Paramount+ identifies Pavi as a young Earthbender who discovers she is the first known Avatar after Korra. Unlike a hero welcomed as a savior, Pavi is pursued by human and spirit enemies in a devastated world that regards her as a danger. The official premise establishes that hostile reception; it does not yet explain why people blame her.
Paramount+’s October 1, 2026 guide says the artwork appears to show Pavi as a young amputee. That is an observation about the reveal artwork, not an explanation of her medical history or the story’s treatment of her limb difference.
What happened to the world in Seven Havens?
A cataclysm has shattered the world, leaving the Seven Havens as civilization’s last strongholds. Pavi and her team must try to save them before those remaining refuges collapse. The official descriptions do not identify the precise cause of the cataclysm or explain how the Havens were established.

The story takes place after The Legend of Korra. Those details establish a changed setting, but the guide does not provide a full chronology or say that either development caused the cataclysm.

- Jae is an Airbender who serves as Pavi’s mentor and friend.
- Pavi’s long-lost twin is central to the search for their origins. Official material has not identified the twin’s name, bending abilities, or circumstances.
Nickelodeon’s 2025 announcement says Pavi and her twin must uncover their origins and help save the Seven Havens. It does not confirm whether the twin can bend, or establish a second Avatar.

How is Pavi’s story different from Aang’s and Korra’s?
The official material distinguishes Pavi by her circumstances, not by a ranking of her power or abilities. She is an Earthbender living after Korra, in a cataclysm-damaged world affected by opened spirit portals. People pursue her as a threat, and her effort to save the Havens involves her twin and a small team. The sources do not establish how her personality, bending skill, or strength compares with Aang’s or Korra’s.
When does Avatar: Seven Havens premiere?
Paramount+’s series guide, published October 1, 2026, lists the premiere for Friday, October 9, 2026, on Paramount+. It describes a 26-episode series split into Book 1 and Book 2, with 13 half-hour episodes in each. These are announced schedule and format details and may be subject to change.
