What is known about Lyra’s name?
A Heart profile reports that Lyra’s name was inspired by Lyra, the protagonist of Philip Pullman’s His Dark Materials series. The available reporting does not include a primary interview transcript establishing that explanation, so it is best understood as an attributed profile detail rather than a confirmed account from Sheeran or Seaborn.
What has Sheeran shared about his daughters’ interests?
In a February 6, 2025 report, Magic 102.1 FM said Sheeran answered a fan’s question by saying his daughters liked the fireworks at his shows. It is a single anecdote, not a basis for broader claims about what they enjoy. Magic 102.1 FM reported the exchange.

Why are public details limited?
Profiles describe Sheeran and Seaborn as protective of their daughters’ privacy. That makes the clearest account a modest one: their names and a few comments Sheeran has chosen to share publicly. There is no need to speculate about the girls’ school, home, locations, appearances, or everyday lives.
