Martha Stewart and Snoop Dogg reunited at the equestrian team dressage event at Château de Versailles on Saturday, August 3, 2024. Stewart recounted their outing in an article published August 5, so “this weekend” refers to that 2024 Olympic weekend—not a current event.
What Martha Stewart and Snoop Dogg did at Versailles
Snoop invited Stewart because he knew she loved horses. “Snoop called me, and he knows I love horses,” Stewart said in her account of the day. The pair met the horses, fed them carrots, and watched the dressage competition in equestrian attire.
Snoop admitted that his enthusiasm had limits: “I’m still scared of horses.” After the event, the two had dinner at Le Cinq. Stewart’s article describes the restaurant as having three Michelin stars and recounts Snoop jokingly giving it a five-star rating. Read Stewart’s account and see its photos.
Why Snoop Dogg was at the Olympics
Snoop was in Paris as an NBC Olympics correspondent. NBCUniversal announced on December 31, 2023, that he would report from the Games for NBC and Peacock, attending events, exploring Paris, and meeting athletes and their families. NBC Sports later said his reports would appear on NBC’s primetime show and Peacock. NBCUniversal’s announcement and NBC Sports’ report describe the role.
#1 Best Overall
NBC Olympics and Paralympics executive producer Molly Solomon said Snoop would bring “his unique perspective” to the network’s reimagined primetime show. Snoop said he had grown up watching the Olympics and was excited to see athletes compete in Paris. The coverage role provides context for his presence at Versailles; the available accounts do not describe the dressage outing as a formal broadcast assignment.
Where to find the equestrian video
NBC Olympics has a video listing titled “Snoop Dogg and Martha Stewart debrief equestrian adventure.” The listing confirms that an official NBC Olympics video exists, but it does not establish whether the clip is currently available in every country or whether access requires a subscription. Check the NBC Olympics video page for its current status.

What the story does—and does not—show
The reunion account documents a shared Olympic outing, their horse-related activities, and dinner afterward. It does not provide a reunion-specific audience figure. NBCUniversal’s announcement separately noted “tens of millions of views” for Snoop’s dressage highlights commentary during the Tokyo Olympics; that figure is not about the Paris outing.
In 2025, Snoop Dogg’s official site reported that NBCUniversal’s Paris 2024 coverage won 10 Sports Emmy Awards, including Outstanding Live Special – Championship Event. That later award count concerns the coverage overall, not the Martha Stewart and Snoop Dogg reunion. See the award recap.
