At the Final Dinner Party, Tori and Jack storm out while Jono arrives with Ellie, setting off a separate confrontation with Lauren. Nine identifies the gathering as episode 34 of Married at First Sight Australia; its recap centres on Lauren discovering messages between Jono and Ellie. The episode coverage describes what unfolded on the show, not independently verified details of the participants’ private relationships.
What happened at the Final Dinner Party?
PerthNow’s 2024 recap reports that Tori and Jack stormed out of the gathering. In another central thread, Jono arrived with nurse Ellie, and Lauren took his appearance with Ellie as an affront to their previous relationship. The episode’s edited narrative brings those conflicts together at the dinner, but they remain distinct storylines.

Nine’s official episode 34 recap foregrounds Lauren’s discovery of messages between Jono and Ellie. It also says Tori was pleased to have exposed Jono and expected to do more at the dinner. Meanwhile, Tori and Jack made their way through the Honesty Box questions without much trouble. That contrast helps explain how their departure could sit alongside the episode’s escalating Jono-Lauren dispute.
What did Jono say later about Ellie?
Nine’s recap of the episode 38 reunion commitment ceremony presents Jono’s account of the timeline: he maintained that he and Ellie were just friends until he called her after Final Vows to give her a heads-up about the texting scandal. That is Jono’s stated version as represented in Nine’s recap; the cited coverage does not independently settle how to interpret the relationship or the earlier messages.

What followed the dinner party?
The next episode, episode 35, covered the Final Vows, including the continuing dispute over Jono texting Ellie and Tori and Jack’s vows. This was a later episode, not part of the Final Dinner Party itself. Episode 38’s reunion commitment ceremony was later still, and its recap also covers Tori and Jack leaving that ceremony—a separate exit from the one reported at the dinner party.
