In June, The Tennessean reported that Davidson County Medical Examiner Dr. Feng Li said an autopsy found that Mandisa died from complications of class III obesity; the manner of death was listed as natural. From True Beauty to Overcomer
Mandisa released her debut album, True Beauty, in 2007 and went on to record five more albums, including a Christmas album. Her fifth album, Overcomer, was released in 2013 and won the 2014 Grammy for Best Contemporary Christian Music Album. The album’s release year and the year it received the Grammy are different.
