ABC News reports that Katy Perry chose the song for Russell, who performed it at the piano in a stripped-down arrangement. The family connection made the choice personal: Lynn was Russell’s grandmother. In the taped introduction, Russell said, “I love singing from the heart, and I think this is a perfect song for that. The episode recap says the program airs on ABC and streams on Hulu, but current full-episode availability on either service is not established here. The official clip is a separate way to watch Russell’s performance.
