Magic: The Gathering—FINAL FANTASY’s announced December 5, 2025 additions are now released: the Chocobo Bundle, four Scene Boxes, and an English-language FINAL FANTASY VII Commander Deck – Game Edition. The bundle is the broadest package of boosters and accessories; the Scene Boxes present six-card story sequences, while the Commander product is a ready-to-play deck. The Chocobo Bundle does not include the Golden Chocobo card.
What comes in the Chocobo Bundle?
Wizards lists the bundle as a mix of boosters, lands, collectible cards, a promo, and accessories. Its contents are:
- Ten FINAL FANTASY Play Boosters.
- Thirty-two FINAL FANTASY landmark basic lands: 16 non-foil and 16 traditional foil.
- Ten Chocobo Track Foil basic lands.
- Two of 20 possible borderless Chocobo Bundle cards.
- One traditional foil Birds of Paradise promo, “Paradise Chocobo.”
- One of 24 Scene Box cards.
- A Chocobo-themed Click Wheel and a Chocobo Edition card box.
- A 12-card Chocobo Booster containing ten full-art Chocobo basic lands and two borderless Chocobo Bundle cards of rare or higher rarity.
The product description and booster breakdown are listed by Wizards Play Network; Wizards’ collecting article details the broader card and land contents.
The Golden Chocobo is not in the bundle
WPN explicitly says the Chocobo Bundle does not contain a Golden Chocobo card. Its listing says that card is available only in English-language Collector Boosters. Buying this bundle therefore does not guarantee the chase card.

- FINAL FANTASY—Garland at the Chaos Shrine
- FINAL FANTASY VIII—Children of Fate
- FINAL FANTASY IX—The Siege of Alexandria
- FINAL FANTASY XV—Camp Comrades
Square Enix’s FINAL FANTASY IX card showcase spotlights the Siege of Alexandria cards: “Brilliant Wings,” “Judgment of Alexander,” “Mega Flare,” “Amarant Coral,” “Vivi’s Persistence,” and “Search for Dagger.” Their illustrations join into a scene in which Dagger—whose true name is Garnet—summons Alexander to defend Alexandria from Bahamut. The showcase also identifies “Choco, Seeker of Paradise” as a Chocobo Bundle card and notes its new illustration.

The FINAL FANTASY VII Commander Deck – Game Edition
This English-only product contains the Limit Break Commander deck, a traditional foil Cloud, Midgar Mercenary promo, and a code to redeem FINAL FANTASY VII. Wizards says the included Limit Break deck is mechanically identical to its original release, so the Game Edition adds the game code and promo rather than a different deck design.
How is the Chocobo Bundle different from the original FINAL FANTASY Bundle?
The similarly named products have different contents. The Chocobo Bundle has ten Play Boosters and its Chocobo Booster, foil and non-foil lands, card treatments, promo, Scene card, and themed accessories. The original Magic: The Gathering—FINAL FANTASY Bundle is listed by the Square Enix Store with nine Play Boosters, two traditional-foil extended-art cards, 32 full-art lands, a Spindown life counter, a storage box, and reference cards. Those original-bundle contents should not be attributed to the Chocobo edition.
