Lynyrd Skynyrd and ZZ Top’s 2024 continuation of the Sharp Dressed Simple Man Tour was announced as 36 North American dates across two legs. Black Stone Cherry supported the spring shows, and The Outlaws supported the late-summer run. The original November 2023 schedule ended September 22 in Ridgefield, Washington; a separate September 27 show in Loveland, Colorado, was announced in March 2024.
What was the Sharp Dressed Simple Man Tour?
The tour paired Lynyrd Skynyrd and ZZ Top as co-headliners. Its name combines the bands’ song titles “Simple Man” and “Sharp Dressed Man.” The 2024 dates continued a tour first announced in 2023; ZZ Top’s official announcement covered that original run, while the 2024 schedule was reported later. JamBase reported the 36 new dates on October 30, 2023, and RTTNews published the schedule on November 6, 2023.
