At the Love Is Blind Season 6 reunion, Trevor Sova addressed leaked-message claims about an off-screen relationship. He said he was “not dating [the woman] technically,” acknowledged toxic behavior and said he needed therapy. His answer was his characterization of the relationship—not independent proof of its status.
What Trevor said about the messages
Netflix Tudum’s Season 6 reunion recap says messages attributed to Trevor and sent to a woman around his entry to and exit from the experiment had circulated online. One quoted message described having to pretend the show was not real life. At the reunion, Trevor was asked about the messages and whether he had a girlfriend while participating.

Trevor replied that he was “not dating [the woman] technically,” despite apparently texting her that he loved her. He also said, “I’m toxic as well. I admit that. I need a lot of therapy.” Those comments explain how Trevor described the situation and his own conduct; they do not establish the relationship’s exact status or settle the context of the messages.
What Trevor said about Chelsea
Trevor maintained that his connection with Chelsea Blackwell in the pods was genuine. He said he would have moved forward as fiancés if she had accepted his proposal, and told her, “I was myself in those pods. I hope you know that.” He offered to provide clarity off camera.

Chelsea ultimately accepted Jimmy Presnell’s proposal instead. The reunion recap says she described having an intuition about Trevor that she could not explain. Trevor denied joining the show to boost his social following, but acknowledged having “good and bad reasons” for participating. He also said, “I’m glad that I went on the show because it taught me a lot about myself.”
When Chelsea says she learned about the claims
In a later interview with Elite Daily, Chelsea said she learned about the claims around the time the cast arrived in Los Angeles for the reunion. She also said the woman—or a friend of hers—had contacted Chelsea earlier. Chelsea said she could not tell whether the person was being truthful or seeking attention.
That is Chelsea’s account of what she knew and when. It does not independently confirm the private relationship or authenticate the messages.
