Lauren said they had not wanted a “huge blowout thing” after their wedding was filmed for Love Is Blind. She described the renewal as a chance to celebrate their relationship on their own terms: “This is the time to finally celebrate it in our own way, in a fun way.”
Their original plans to celebrate after filming were disrupted by the 2020 shutdowns and quarantine. Lauren said the televised wedding had brought cameras and a crowd, rather than the private focus on the marriage they wanted for themselves: “I feel like with the show, it was kind of that. It was like, cameras, everybody … and it wasn’t really about the intimacy of us really just celebrating our marriage.”

When did Lauren and Cameron get married?
They married on November 16, 2018, after meeting on the first season of Love Is Blind, according to The Knot’s November 1, 2023 report. Their fifth anniversary therefore fell in November 2023. The Knot’s report outlined plans for a Las Vegas-style vow renewal before the anniversary; TheGrio later reported on the completed celebration.
Lauren has said that the relationship unfolded in an unusual order: “I always say we did it backward. We got married and then we started dating, which in a lot of ways was fun and exciting, but it’s definitely different than anything I’ve ever experienced.” She also recalled that they discussed subjects including politics, finances and raising children while still in the show’s pods.

How their earlier anniversaries fit the story
In a 2020 Los Angeles Times interview, Lauren recalled celebrating their first anniversary with a trip to Mexico, where they had gone after getting engaged. She also said their wedding took place on her birthday. Those details describe an earlier milestone, not the 2023 vow renewal.
Cameron said he believes couples should mark the milestones in their marriage: “I think you should really celebrate every milestone of the marriage.”

Yes. Netflix Tudum’s current overview of Love Is Blind couples lists Lauren and Cameron as still together and reports that they welcomed their son, Ezra William Hamilton, on October 1, 2025. That family update came well after their fifth-anniversary celebration.
