Jennifer Aniston’s two weddings left very different public photo records. For her 2000 marriage to Brad Pitt, archival evidence includes an image of guests being escorted into a secured Malibu site—not a complete ceremony album. Her 2015 wedding to Justin Theroux was a private surprise event at their Bel Air home, and Aniston said she wanted to keep that moment private. The available sources do not establish a complete public album from either wedding, or prove that private photographs do not exist.
Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt’s wedding photos: Malibu, July 29, 2000
Aniston and Pitt exchanged vows on the evening of July 29, 2000, at a beach compound in Malibu, according to the Los Angeles Times’ contemporaneous report. The site was heavily secured. Photographers gathered outside, searched for vantage points and offered money for pictures; a fence around the reception area was wrapped in tarps.
That context helps explain why the public record is limited. Security and press activity around the property do not show that no photographs were taken; they show how the event was shielded from outside view.
What the surviving archive image shows
A Getty Images / Hulton Archive listing identifies a Jason Kirk photograph of guests being escorted into the wedding by security. The catalog dates the event to July 29, 2000. It is evidence of guests arriving, not an image of Aniston and Pitt exchanging vows or a complete album of the day.

Reported details about the ceremony
ABC News’ July 29, 2000 report put attendance at about 200 guests and, citing a press statement, described Aniston’s gown as a floor-length white satin silk design by Lawrence Steele. Those are reported details; the Getty archive image is not evidence of what the gown looked like.

That statement is a clear indication of how Aniston framed the ceremony, but it should not be stretched into a claim that no photographs were made. The sources here do not establish a complete, publicly released collection of 2015 wedding photos.

| Wedding | Public context | What the cited photo record establishes |
|---|---|---|
| Aniston and Brad Pitt, Malibu, July 29, 2000 | Contemporary reporting describes photographers outside a heavily secured site. | Getty catalogs a Jason Kirk image of guests being escorted inside; it does not establish a full ceremony album. |
| Aniston and Justin Theroux, Bel Air, August 5, 2015 | The wedding was a surprise event at the couple’s home, and Aniston later called it a private moment. | The cited sources do not establish a complete public photo collection. |
In both cases, the distinction matters: a picture connected with a wedding is not necessarily a photograph of the ceremony, and a limited public record is not proof that private images do not exist. Nor do these sources establish that every wedding image circulating online is authorized.
