What Livepush documents for prerecorded YouTube streams
Continuous schedule channel
Livepush’s current pricing page places video looping and a 24/7 schedule channel on its Creators and Business plans. The page says Free and Pro do not include the 24/7 channel. The separate prerecorded streaming product page describes uploading videos for streaming, with scheduling, looping, and playlist support.
Finite events and plan limits
Do not assume every Livepush plan can run the same length of event: its current pricing page lists plan-specific limits. It lists 20 streaming hours per month and a 20-minute prerecorded event limit for Free; Pro lists prerecorded events up to four hours. For a continuous channel, check the Creators or Business plan details directly rather than treating those finite-event limits as 24/7 availability.

What Restream documents for loops and scheduled events
A loop has a fixed ceiling
Restream’s help article, published March 11, 2026, says video looping is a paid feature, allows up to 10 loops, and limits one looped stream to 40 hours. That makes it suitable for a long but finite broadcast, not a documented indefinitely repeating 24/7 channel. See Restream’s loop documentation.

Scheduling a prerecorded event
Restream’s documented workflow is to create a prerecorded livestream, choose a video, optionally set the loop count, select connected channels, and schedule the event. Its guide says the event airs automatically at the scheduled time, although some destinations may require a manual go-live action on the destination platform. That scheduling guide lists video-library tiers of Premier at $39/month for two-hour videos at 1080p, Marathon at $79/month for four-hour videos at 1080p, and Media at $239/month for 12-hour videos at 4K. YouTube setup and archive qualifications
Restream’s YouTube setup guide, published July 9, 2026, says livestreaming must be enabled on the channel; first-time activation requires phone verification and a 24-hour wait, and the account owner must connect the channel. The same guide says YouTube has no stream-duration limit but archives only streams shorter than 12 hours. Treat that duration and archive guidance as Restream’s description, not a promise that every stream will be archived or remain uninterrupted.
How to decide between Livepush and Restream
- Choose Livepush for the closer documented 24/7 option if its Creators or Business channel feature and current terms meet your needs. Verify the playlist behavior, plan limits, and price before committing.
- Choose Restream for a finite event if its scheduled prerecorded workflow suits your destinations and the documented 40-hour/10-loop ceiling is sufficient.
- Compare the exact plan, not just the headline feature: check continuous operation, looping model, playlist scheduling, video storage/library, event duration, resolution, destination count, and total subscription cost.
- Do not treat the services as equivalent for continuity. Restream’s cited loop cap is finite; Livepush advertises a dedicated 24/7 schedule channel.
