The clearest documented highlights are a guest appearance by Pabllo Vittar for the then-unreleased collaboration “Dead Boy,” a 14-song sequence recorded by setlist.fm, and Gshow’s report that Lil Nas X cut his hair onstage and waved a Brazilian flag as he left. The available accounts establish what was scheduled and reported, but not enough to judge the set’s sound, pacing, production or audience response as an eyewitness review.
When and where Lil Nas X played
Lollapalooza Brasil ran March 24–26, 2023, at Autódromo de Interlagos in São Paulo. The city’s official venue schedule placed Lil Nas X on the Chevrolet stage on Friday, March 24, from 20:10 to 21:10. Prefeitura de São Paulo / Autódromo de Interlagos schedule
The same timetable listed Billie Eilish beginning at 21:15 on the Budweiser stage. That shows the published schedule’s close handoff between acts on separate stages; it does not establish how many festivalgoers moved between them. Official festival schedule
What happened during the set
Pabllo Vittar joined for “Dead Boy”
Gshow reported that Pabllo Vittar appeared during the performance and joined Lil Nas X for “Dead Boy,” which the outlet described at the time as an unreleased collaboration. The report identifies the guest moment as the set’s most distinctive musical event, though it does not provide an independent account of the song’s arrangement or the crowd’s reaction. Gshow reported a haircut and a Brazilian flag
The same event report says Lil Nas X cut his hair onstage and waved a Brazilian flag before leaving. These are details reported by Gshow, not independently verified observations in the available accounts; they offer evidence of how the outlet described the closing moments, not a basis for judging the staging or audience response. The setlist recorded for the performance
Setlist.fm’s user-contributed entry numbers 14 songs. Its sequence includes several of Lil Nas X’s best-known tracks; the list is a useful record of the reported program, but it is not an official setlist or a confirmation from the festival or artist.

The entry tags eight listed songs as tracks from MONTERO. Its repetition of “THATS WHAT I WANT” and “MONTERO (Call Me by Your Name)” is part of the submitted record; without an official setlist, it should not be silently treated as a verified encore or exact running order. setlist.fm performance entry
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. What can—and cannot—be concluded from the record
The schedule, setlist entry and Gshow report together establish the date, scheduled stage time, a reported guest collaboration, a reported closing gesture and a community-submitted song sequence. They do not provide firsthand audience testimony or enough verified performance detail to assess vocals, pacing, production quality or the crowd’s response. A fair retrospective can identify the reported moments and the songs listed, but a verdict that the show was a triumph or failure would go beyond this evidence.
