Lar Park Lincoln, known for playing Linda Fairgate on Knots Landing and Tina Shepard in Friday the 13th Part VII: The New Blood, died on April 22, 2025, at 63. Her death was announced by Actors Audition Studios; contemporaneous reports did not disclose a cause of death.

Actors Audition Studios, the organization Lincoln founded, announced the death. The studio statement, quoted by the Los Angeles Times, said: “Over her 45-year career, Lar left an unforgettable mark on Hollywood through her dynamic performances and dedication to mentoring aspiring actors.” The 45-year figure is the studio’s characterization of her career.
What did Lar Park Lincoln play on Knots Landing?
Lincoln played Linda Fairgate on the CBS drama Knots Landing from 1987 to 1991. Linda was Karen Fairgate’s daughter-in-law. The character was killed in Season 13, while Lincoln’s run covered only part of the series’ 1979–1993 broadcast history; she was not a cast member for the show’s entire run.

Legacy.com counts Lincoln in 48 episodes. TVLine described the role as nearly 50 episodes, and the Los Angeles Times reported the 1987–1991 dates.
Why horror fans remember her
Lincoln’s best-known film role was Tina Shepard in Friday the 13th Part VII: The New Blood (1988). Tina is a young woman with telekinetic abilities who becomes the film’s central opponent to Jason Voorhees. Lincoln later appeared in the 2021 fan film Rose Blood.

Her other screen work
Beyond Knots Landing and Friday the 13th, Lincoln’s credits included television appearances in Outlaws, Highway to Heaven, Beverly Hills, 90210, Murder, She Wrote and City of Justice. Film credits listed in the Los Angeles Times report include The Princess Academy, From the Dark, Autumn Road, Rose Blood and Ghost Party.
The Los Angeles Times identified Ghost Party (2022) as her last acting credit.

Was breast cancer confirmed as her cause of death?
No. The Los Angeles Times said Actors Audition Studios did not reveal where Lincoln died or the cause. TVLine likewise reported that a cause was not immediately available.
TVLine reported that Lincoln had battled breast cancer since 2008 and had undergone nine surgeries by 2012. That medical history is separate from the death announcement: the contemporary reports did not confirm breast cancer as the cause of death.

Lincoln’s work as an acting mentor
After and alongside her screen career, Lincoln founded Actors Audition Studios, where she coached performers and mentored people pursuing acting. She also wrote Get Started, Not Scammed, a guide for people entering acting and modeling. Her studio’s announcement emphasized that teaching and protecting aspiring performers were central parts of her professional life.
