Fans interpreting a brief frame in Deadpool & Wolverine promotional footage thought they spotted Lady Deadpool and Juggernaut. The two claims have different outcomes: later reporting identified Blake Lively as Lady Deadpool in the released film, while the figure fans called Juggernaut—and the actor behind it—was not confirmed by the official sources reviewed.
What fans thought they saw
A June 8, 2024 discussion on r/MarvelStudiosSpoilers focused on a fleeting moment in the film’s promotional imagery. Fans pointed out what they interpreted as Lady Deadpool and Juggernaut, with questions such as where Juggernaut could be seen. The post records audience reaction to a brief image, not a studio confirmation of either character’s identity.

CinemaBlend also reported the Juggernaut speculation, describing fans who thought the character’s helmet and armor were visible behind Wolverine. That interpretation is not enough to establish that the figure was Juggernaut or identify who played the person in the shot.
Lady Deadpool: what was established later
After the film’s release, TIME identified Blake Lively as Lady Deadpool. Its July 26, 2024 article, updated January 19, 2026, describes Lady Deadpool’s comic-book counterpart as Wanda Wilson, a female Deadpool variant from an alternate universe. In the film, the character remains masked, with her identity revealed in the end credits.

This later casting information answers who played Lady Deadpool in the finished movie. It does not retroactively make every early fan identification in the promotional frame an official reveal.
Juggernaut: the teaser identity remains uncertain
The early discussion centered on a possible glimpse of Juggernaut, particularly the apparent helmet and armor behind Wolverine. The reviewed official material does not confirm that this figure was Juggernaut or name the actor in that glimpse. In particular, the fan interpretation should not be treated as confirmation that Vinnie Jones returned to the role.

The official trailer context
Marvel Studios’ official marketing context is clear: on April 22, 2024, it debuted a new Deadpool & Wolverine trailer and two posters, as Disney UK Press reported. The release named Shawn Levy as director and listed Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman, Emma Corrin, Morena Baccarin, Rob Delaney, Leslie Uggams, Karan Soni and Matthew Macfadyen among the stars. The press release provides the marketing announcement; it does not verify the identities of the figures fans later discussed.
The movie’s release date depended on territory. The 20th Century Studios Australia/New Zealand film page lists July 25, 2024, and an MA15+ rating for that market. That date should not be read as a universal release date.

Why the trailer drew so much attention
Disney Spain reported that the first Deadpool & Wolverine trailer received 365 million views in its first 24 hours. The company’s February 13, 2024 release presents this as Disney’s figure for that opening 24-hour period—not an independently audited current view total.
That scale of attention helps explain why a momentary glimpse prompted frame-by-frame fan discussion. But the distinction remains important: spotting a possible costume or silhouette is fan interpretation; confirmation requires reliable identification beyond the image itself.
