In a January 2024 Good Morning America interview, she joked that while people were following what she did, she was trying to scrape applesauce off the couch. She also said she deeply appreciated the support.
What Kylie Kelce said about the attention
“I almost feel a little guilty that people are so interested in and invested in what I’m doing,” Kelce said in the January 2024 interview with Good Morning America. “I’m like, I am trying to scrape applesauce off the couch … this is not that fascinating. So it’s funny to me. I deeply appreciate the support.”

The applesauce line was a joke about the contrast between public attention and an ordinary parenting chore. Her comment paired amusement with gratitude; it was not a complaint that people were interested in her.
Why the interview was in the spotlight
Good Morning America framed its conversation around Kelce’s life in the public eye alongside her husband, Jason Kelce, and the attention surrounding the NFL playoffs. The January 2024 report also described Kylie as a mother of three and a high school field hockey coach at that time.

That context helps explain why the interview addressed public attention, but Kelce’s remark did not identify one definitive reason people were interested in her. It was her personal observation, not a measurement of audience interest.
