Yes—but this was a 2025 report, not a current deal. PC Guide reported on September 9, 2025, that some U.S. Sam’s Club stores were selling LEGO Game Boy set 72046 for $49.99 ahead of its reported October 1 release date. That was $10 below the $59.99 price PC Guide said LEGO listed. Sam’s Club later listed the set at $49.98 in its November 2025 savings book; present-day price and stock have not been verified.
What Sam’s Club’s early-sale report said
PC Guide reported that some Sam’s Club locations in the United States had begun selling set 72046 on September 9, 2025, nearly three weeks before the October 1 release date it said was scheduled. The report put Sam’s Club’s price at $49.99 and LEGO’s listed price at $59.99. Those figures describe the prices reported at that time, not a current offer. PC Guide’s September 9, 2025 report
PC Guide said it did not know why the set appeared early or why Sam’s Club’s reported price was lower. The available reporting does not establish an explanation, so the timing and discount should not be read as evidence of a broader retail policy or a price-match arrangement.
What Sam’s Club’s later listing confirms
Sam’s Club’s official November 2025 Instant Savings Book listed “Lego Game Boy” for $49.98 and described “Authentic details with Game Pak slot and lenticular screens.” That is a separate retailer-issued listing from the $49.99 price in PC Guide’s September report; the one-cent difference should be preserved rather than treated as a single transaction price. The book confirms the item appeared in that promotion, but not that it is available now. Sam’s Club’s November 2025 Instant Savings Book

Is it still $49.98 at Sam’s Club?
That cannot be established from the 2025 listings. Sam’s Club describes Instant Savings as limited-time offers with validity dates, and says members can check offer details through their account or the app. To find out whether the set is currently sold, check Sam’s Club’s live listing or contact a local club for current stock and price.
