Yes. Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet made their first official joint red-carpet appearance on May 7, 2025, at the 70th David di Donatello ceremony in Rome. Their later appearance at the 2026 Golden Globes is sometimes easy to confuse with the debut, but they did not walk that carpet together.
Where and when they made their red-carpet debut
The couple posed together on the carpet at Rome’s 70th David di Donatello ceremony on May 7, 2025. Vogue France and El País identify the event as their first joint red-carpet appearance. Chalamet received the David for Cinematic Excellence at the ceremony, according to El País.
“Debut” refers specifically to an official appearance together on a red carpet. It does not mean this was the first time Jenner and Chalamet had been seen together in public: earlier appearances and attending events together inside venues are distinct from posing together on the carpet.
What Jenner and Chalamet wore in Rome
Vogue France describes Jenner’s look as a black Schiaparelli gown from the Fall/Winter 2025–2026 collection. Chalamet wore a tailored black suit with a white flower in his jacket pocket. El País also notes Jenner’s velvet clutch and earrings and describes the pair’s coordinated black outfits.

Jenner said, “Me maquillé yo misma para esta noche” (“I did my own makeup for tonight”), according to El País, which identifies her cosmetics business as Kylie Cosmetics. Her comment establishes that she applied her own makeup; it does not identify the products she used.

At the 83rd Golden Globes in January 2026, Chalamet walked the red carpet alone while Jenner was inside the ballroom, as The Associated Press reported. The Golden Globes’ own archive labels an image of the two together as an “Inside” photo, not a carpet appearance: the ceremony’s photo archive.

During his acceptance speech at the 2026 ceremony, Chalamet said, “For my parents, for my partner, I love you.” Vanity Fair reported the line as a reference to Jenner and his loved ones.
The couple’s Golden Globes fashion was also separate from the Rome debut. Jenner wore a custom Ashi Studio gown, which Vanity Fair reported took more than 300 hours to create, with more than 100 carats of Lorraine Schwartz diamond jewelry. Those details describe the 2026 event, not the 2025 David di Donatello appearance.
