Who are Kris Kristofferson’s eight children?
Tracy Kristofferson
Tracy is one of Kris Kristofferson’s two children with his first wife, Fran Beer. She is generally identified as the elder child from that marriage. Public biographical references connect Tracy with the entertainment industry, including work as an actress and producer.
Beyond those broad professional descriptions, reliable current information about her private life is limited. It is therefore best not to assume details about her residence, relationships, or present-day activities from brief online listings.
Kris Kristofferson Jr.
Kris Kristofferson Jr. is Kristofferson’s son with Fran Beer and Tracy’s sibling. Biography.com reports that the two children were born in the 1960s.
Compared with his famous father and some of his siblings, Kris Jr. has maintained a much lower public profile. Major biographical sources identify him as part of the family but do not provide enough current information to responsibly assign him a profession or describe his personal life.
Casey Kristofferson
Casey is Kris Kristofferson’s daughter with Rita Coolidge. She was the only child of the country and singer-songwriter couple, who were married from 1973 until their divorce in 1980.
Some secondary sources describe Casey as a musician. However, the strongest readily available obituary coverage is primarily useful for confirming her place in the family rather than for constructing a detailed career biography. The secure point is that she is Kristofferson and Coolidge’s daughter.
Jesse Kristofferson
Jesse is one of the five children Kris Kristofferson had with Lisa Meyers. Kristofferson and Meyers married in 1983, and biographical reporting places the births of their five children between 1983 and 1994.
Jesse has generally received less public coverage than Kristofferson’s career. Reliable family listings establish the relationship, but they do not support adding speculative details about Jesse’s occupation or personal life.
Jody Kristofferson
Jody is another of Kristofferson and Lisa Meyers’s five children. Entertainment and sports coverage has associated him with professional wrestling, including appearances under the ring name Garrett Dylan. That detail is less firmly established in the major biographical and obituary sources than his place in the family, so it is best treated as a cautious public association rather than the basis for a full profile.
Johnny Kristofferson
Johnny is one of Kris Kristofferson’s sons with Lisa Meyers. Readers may encounter a small naming discrepancy in obituary coverage: the Los Angeles Times uses “John,” while other sources use “Johnny.” These references concern the same child, not two different sons.
As with several of his siblings, detailed and current public information about Johnny is limited. The well-supported fact is his place among Kristofferson and Meyers’s five children.
Kelly Marie Kristofferson
Kelly Marie is Kris Kristofferson and Lisa Meyers’s daughter. She is the only daughter among their five children. The Guardian and the Irish Times identify her in their accounts of Kristofferson’s family.

There is no need to fill the gap with unverified claims about her career or personal circumstances.
Blake Kristofferson
Blake is the youngest of the five children Kris Kristofferson had with Lisa Meyers, according to Biography.com’s account of the family. He was born during the period in which the couple’s children arrived, from 1983 through 1994.
Current public information about Blake is limited. Sources consistently include him in the list of eight children, but do not provide a sufficiently detailed, current profile to support claims about his work or private life.

How Kris Kristofferson’s family was formed
Kristofferson’s eight children came from three marriages:
Recommended Free Tools
- Fran Beer: Kristofferson married Beer in 1960 or 1961, depending on the source’s treatment of the wedding date. They had Tracy and Kris Jr. before divorcing in 1969.
- Rita Coolidge: He married singer Rita Coolidge in 1973. They had one child, Casey, and divorced in 1980.
- Lisa Meyers: Kristofferson married Meyers in 1983. They had five children together and remained married until his death.
Biography.com gives February 18, 1983, as the date of Kristofferson’s marriage to Meyers, while the official biography confirms the year and that they had five children. Together with Kristofferson’s three children from his earlier marriages, those five made eight.
Lisa Meyers and the blended-family household
Lisa Meyers is central to understanding the family structure. Biographical accounts say that she helped raise Kristofferson’s three children from his previous marriages while she and Kristofferson raised five children of their own. In that sense, the family was a large blended household: three children from Kristofferson’s earlier marriages and five children born during his marriage to Meyers.
Kristofferson’s official biography also describes him as becoming a more involved father as his family expanded. That supports the broad picture of a growing family, but it does not justify inventing details about the children’s upbringing or relationships with one another.
