Kim Kardashian joined Fortnite’s Icon Series in December 2025 with two outfits: Iconic Kim Kardashian, offering multiple customization choices, and Kim Kardashian, with a jacket that can be worn on or off. Epic called the first outfit Fortnite’s most customizable at the time; “so good it might break the internet” is playful headline hyperbole, not a reported outage or measured player response.
When did the Kim Kardashian Fortnite skin come out?
Epic Games announced the collaboration on December 11, 2025. TechRadar reported that the outfits reached the Item Shop on December 13 at 4 p.m. PT / 7 p.m. ET, which was December 14 at 12 a.m. GMT. The dates differ because the shop launch crossed midnight in some time zones. Epic Games Japan’s announcement and TechRadar’s launch guide cover the release timing.

During the launch period, TechRadar reported that players could compete in the Icon Cup on December 12 for an early unlock of Iconic Kim Kardashian. That was a launch-time opportunity, not a continuing way to obtain the outfit.
What are the two outfits, and how do they differ?
| Outfit | Customization described at launch |
|---|---|
| Iconic Kim Kardashian | Seven colors, four neckline options and three hairstyles; Epic also announced more than 25 variations. |
| Kim Kardashian | A jacket that can be worn on or off. |
The counts are Epic’s announced customization figures, not an independently verified tally of every possible combination. Epic described Iconic Kim Kardashian as the game’s most customizable outfit at the time; that is the company’s characterization, not an independent comparison across all Fortnite cosmetics. Epic also said Kardashian worked directly with the Fortnite team and supervised creation of the collaboration’s outfit items. Epic Games Japan’s announcement contains the outfit and customization details.

What cosmetics are in the collaboration?
Epic announced Ring Light To Go back bling and the Slurp the Internet and Diamond Drop emotes alongside the outfits. The official Item Shop listing also names Kim’s Kit, Full Beat Brush, Bag Basher and Private Jet, as well as the outfits. Items may be sold individually or as part of a bundle; check the listing for the exact contents currently offered. Fortnite’s Item Shop shows the indexed listings.
How much does the Kim Kardashian Fortnite skin cost?
In the Fortnite Item Shop listing indexed on October 8, 2026, the Kim Kardashian outfit was shown at 1,500 V-Bucks. The Kim Kardashian Bundle was shown at 3,000 V-Bucks, with 5,900 V-Bucks listed as its original price. These are observed listing values, not guaranteed prices: shop offers, regional equivalents and availability can change. They are V-Bucks prices, not direct real-money amounts. Check the live Item Shop for current price and bundle contents before buying.

Can you still get the skin?
The launch event and Icon Cup were time-specific. An indexed Item Shop listing does not establish that an outfit is in stock now: Fortnite rotates shop offerings, so check the live shop in-game or online. If an outfit or bundle is absent, the available listing does not establish when it will return.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. What does “break the internet” mean here?
It is a metaphor, not a factual report. The sources establish the collaboration, its cosmetics and its customization features; they do not provide a measured sales result, player-reaction statistic or evidence of an internet outage. Epic’s announcement also cited more than 500 million registered Fortnite accounts, a corporate figure reported with the December 2025 announcement—not a current count of active players. Epic Games Japan’s announcement is the source for that figure.

- An Epic Games account is required to redeem an Epic Games Store Card code
- If playing on a console platform (PlayStation Network, Xbox Live, Nintendo Switch or Mobile) you need to link your Epic Games account to that gaming platform (one time) to redeem your gift card code
- The 16 digit code on the back of the card WILL NOT work if redeemed directly through your gaming platform (PlayStation Network, Xbox Live, Nintendo Switch, Mobile, etc.)
- Note: Nintendo devices do not support Fortnite Shared Wallet, so V-Bucks purchased using your account balance will not show up on your Nintendo device. However, if you purchase items in the web Item Shop — or another platform where you play Fortnite — those items will be available in your Locker across all platforms.

The collaboration belongs to Fortnite’s Icon Series. Epic’s Japanese announcement describes the series as honoring influential and fascinating people in real-world gaming, music, film and fashion; that English rendering is a translation of the source wording. Read the announcement.
